BLK Clinic in Delhi (India)
Clinic specialization
Indian BLK Super Speciality Hospital is known worldwide for its achievements in cancer control, transplantology and cardiology. It enters the top-10 best medical centers in the country, which is confirmed by JCI and NABH certificates. The clinic was founded in 1930 as a charity hospital specializing in gynecology and obstetrics. But in 1959, thanks to the interest and investment of Dr. B.L. Kapoor, it became a multi-specialty hospital. Today, the BLK clinic consists of more than 15 departments, more than 1,500 employees, 700 beds for patients (125 of which are in the intensive care unit).
On the basis of the hospital there successfully work:
-
Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation;
-
Oncology Department;
-
Center for Liver and Digestive Tract Diseases;
-
Department of Orthopedics and Joint Reconstruction.
Individual attitude to each patient, multidisciplinary approach to treatment and modern equipment make it easy to solve even the most complex medical problems. For example, the clinic uses special 3D-imaging systems for planning and performing surgical procedures for bone marrow and liver transplants. These make it possible to perform the operation as clearly and safely as possible. The clinic has become a hub for quality treatment of foreign patients, thanks to its location in just a 30-minute drive from Delhi International Airport. Its comfortable wards and special rooms for communicating with relatives are an undoubted plus for receiving treatment within the walls of this particular hospital. Turning to BLK specialists for help, you get high-quality medical care, with the use of modern equipment, which has a positive influence on the effectiveness and speed of treatment of even serious diseases.

How it works
Patient feedback on treatment:
BLK Clinic in Delhi (India)
Also, the star of my father's treatment, Dr. Shiv Chuksi (orthopedist) and the whole team were one of the most friendly teams that we have ever met, they treated us like a family and gave my father the maximum care that they could provide!
After vaccination, we were asked to wait 30 minutes for observation. There were other devices, such as water, toilet, etc.
The only problem was that they only accepted cash, and not through the API.
Overall a good impression.
Billing, vaccination and post-vaccination - there were several counters for all this, which simplified the whole process. To be honest, I didn't expect such a smooth process from start to finish on such a scale, but it met my expectations.
Despite the fact that the operation and treatment went well, the hospital failed in all other parameters.
1. The medical center is understaffed, which can lead to fatal errors. Since I had a medical education, I could notice and eliminate such mistakes, but I pray for other patients.
2. They somehow do not think that it is necessary to inform relatives whether the operation was successful or not. No information was provided about when the operation ended, what condition the patient is in or where he is... we had to run around to find the answers...
3. The upload took 10 hours, while the TPA took only 1.5 hours to complete the process.
And much more in our 5-day stay there..
Never gonna visit this hospital in future for any medical situation.
However accounting department needs improvement. There should be fixed price for treatment services. The practice of bargaining and haggling experienced was very disappointing.
The shortage of medical staff in such a large and private hospital is only 2 nurses for 18 patients, and sometimes 1. If the patient is in the intensive care unit, none of the staff will listen to him and the patient will be depressed. There were so many cases where the sister gave the wrong medicine or injection and we continued to suffer.
