The Cardiac Surgery Center of the Rostov Regional Clinical Hospital is one of the largest and dynamically developing state centers of cardiovascular surgery not only in the South of Russia, but also in the whole country.

The center is also the clinical base of the Rostov State Medical University and the Faculty of Advanced Training and retraining of specialists.
Its structure includes:
- seven specialized inpatient departments;
- polyclinic;
- artificial blood circulation laboratory;
- an operating unit consisting of four fully functional and two X-ray surgical operating rooms.
The main directions of treatment are the following:
- congenital and acquired heart defects;
- chronic rheumatic heart disease, injuries, degenerative heart defects, infectious endocarditis, etc.;
- coronary heart disease;
- arrhythmias of varying degrees of complexity;
- vasorenal hypertension;
- aortic aneurysms;
- chronic abdominal ischemia syndrome;
- obliterating atherosclerosis.
The center is also the clinical base of the Rostov State Medical University and the Faculty of Advanced Training and retraining of specialists.

For a long time and scrupulously, I read reviews about all the doctors of the cardiology department on the Internet. I was surprised that they are diametrically opposed, someone is happy, and someone ... well, does not recommend at all (to put it mildly). I chose Konstantin Nikolaevich Smirnov, we signed up.. Read more :)))) On the day of "x" we arrived. Special thanks to the registry staff, everything is very fast, clear and polite. We even went to the appointment with Konstantin Nikolaevich a little earlier than the time indicated in the coupon, thanks to the nurse Tatiana Konstantinovna, who promptly went out and picked up patient referrals and coupons for registration, and then called them by name. The doctor himself is a true professional in his field, very competent, attentive and patient. I listened to all the complaints, sent them for an ultrasound of the heart, and prescribed treatment based on the result. Answered a million of my questions.
