Dr. Maurins' Phlebology Clinic is one of the most modern laser medicine and vein treatment clinics in Europe, specializing in the treatment of varicose veins, thrombosis, thrombophlebitis and trophic ulcers. The founder of the clinic, Dr. UldisMaurins, is the president of the Baltic Society of Phlebologists, a member of the Latvian Association of Surgeons, a member of the Latvian, German and Mexican Societies of Phlebologists and the International Union of Phlebologists. Every year, 20,000 patients are treated here and 2,500 operations are performed. The clinic consists of 2 operating rooms, 7 consulting and treatment rooms and 3 wards. The clinic uses the latest generation BiolitecELVeSPainless 1470 nm device, which does not leave scars on the skin and significantly reduces the risk of recurrent varicose veins. For the treatment of superficial varicose protrusions, hospital doctors perform sclerosis. During the procedure, the doctor inserts a special liquid into the vein, which "glues" the affected vessel. I came to check the appearance of a small varicose veins. The doctor quickly scanned the Vein, and very quickly, without further ado, sent me to the operation, without really explaining anything. I had to extract information myself from a person who seemed dissatisfied with the fact that he was serving me. His disregard for the patient was unpleasant. I asked how it was possible to treat a vein and prevent the appearance of new veins, to which he answered me briefly and dryly that there was no treatment, only laser removal. I wrote out a check for 1500€ and sent it home. This is an unfair and careless attitude! It seems that there are scammers sitting there who are financially profiting from other people's troubles! Doctors in this clinic do not treat, but cut loot!

I came to the clinic because I wanted to remove vascular asterisks on my legs using sclerotherapy.I was in another clinic a year ago, they said there were problems with the veins, but it's too early to do the operation, you have to wait for the veins to show up visually. They didn't do sclerotherapy there, they only removed it with a laser. And so I found an advertisement and came to this clinic. The clinic performs the assembly of the conveyor. The doctor quickly, without further ado, began to check the veins, said that everything was bad. There was a feeling that the doctor wants to send to the operation as soon as possible, having previously inserted an invoice for 1100 €. No discussion of possible treatment options. No explanation of the proposed option. I had to "pull out" all the information myself, the doctor looked annoyed. Actually, according to the problem with which I came, the doctor said that it was possible that the vascular asterisks would pass by themselves after the operation.And if they don't, then we'll decide what to do with them. I was able to come to my senses only when I left the office. When did the vascular asterisks pass by themselves? In general, I really did not like this service.

I am very happy about this experience. Great atmosphere, kind, responsive, smiling girls who are waiting and encouraging. Dr. Juris Rits performed a professional and masterful operation on the veins. The ladies who helped in the operation were simply incomparable in sincerity and a single dose of humor. Every penny spent is worth it!
A very pleasant atmosphere, helpful service, together with my grandmother I visited a specialist in leg veins, and also went for surgery. Everything is very nice in the team, smiling and professional. the doctor also came to talk to us personally even after the operation and told us everything again. Thank you, good work and humane attitude!
