The European Medical Center Interbalkan is a part of the largest Athens Medical Group in Greece. It is a multidisciplinary medical institution that actively cooperates with the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University and other leading hospitals in America and Europe. The clinic is certified according to ISO protocols, which confirms the high level of safety and equipment. The center is divided into 36 departments, which are equipped with 22 operating rooms and 10 maternity rooms. The Department of robotic Surgery is equipped with a Da Vinci robot that allows you to remove affected tissues and tumors with 100% accuracy. In this case, the intervention is performed through small punctures with a diameter of no more than a centimeter. The scars from them are almost invisible, and the postoperative period is easier and faster. In the Department of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, interventional methods are practiced, in which the treatment and diagnosis of the heart is carried out with a thin catheter. In this way, balloons and stents are installed, and heart valves are changed and corrected. They also install defibrillators and pacemakers, do angioplasty and aortic bypass surgery. The Department of Neurosurgery performs minimally invasive operations on the spine, removes tumors in the brain, and performs surgical operations on peripheral nerves. Deep brain stimulation and the installation of a pump are also practiced. In the clinic, you can make a check-up that allows you to identify any health problems at an early stage of their development.

Unacceptable service in the emergency department by the head of the medical staff. There were more than 4 empty stretchers in the room, and I asked to lie down because I was waiting for a second examination by my doctor after spinal surgery. I explained to him that I was in pain and was not allowed to sit down, and he immediately told me that there was no way to find a bed. Then I turned to the manager, who immediately served me, and I thank her very much!

After my visit (2/8) to the emergency departments of the Inter-Balkan Medical Center, I had only good impressions... from the security guard at the entrance for his kindness, the medical staff for his immediate reaction, the people in the traffic department for their services, but also for an excellent doctor, but above all for the person who dealt with my health problem, cardiologist Isidoros Minovgidis!!!

Great hospital. Cardiac surgeons really know what they are doing, and you will leave with excellent results. The medical staff is also very good, everything works perfectly, so you can recover quickly and correctly. Expensive, but serious and professional.
I can't understand why there are so many negative comments. I gave birth there ten days ago by Caesarean section, lived in a single room, and my impressions are very pleasant! Everything went perfectly, the staff in the delivery rooms, as well as in the maternity ward were very polite and ready to help in everything. They helped me with everything I needed, and I have no complaints. As for food, they say it makes sense that during surgery you can't eat what you want and the food is proportional. But the next few days the normal diet was perfect! My anesthesiologist, Andreas Mihopoulos, I am very grateful to him for everything, and, first of all, I thank my doctor, Mr. Mamopoulos! Undoubtedly, I would have given birth there again!!!

Just grateful! My 89-year-old mother was admitted to the clinic with acute symptoms. Intestinal obstruction was detected. At night, the surgeon Christophoros Kosmidis operated on my mother in the emergency operating room and saved her life. He checked on her every day and patiently answered all my questions. A doctor who is not only technically competent, but also outstanding in personal terms. Many thanks to the medical staff, as well as the maintenance staff and cleaners.
