The Evangelistic Clinic for Lung Diseases is one of the specialized centers of the Charite University Hospital. It provides assistance to patients suffering from lung diseases, including cancer. Every year, more than 12 thousand patients are treated within the walls of the clinic, among which 5,000 patients receive therapy in the hospital, and 7,000-on an outpatient basis. The Department of Thoracic Surgery provides medical care to patients suffering from chest diseases, with the exception of the heart. Despite the fact that the department has only 37 beds for patients with thoracic diseases, plus five more beds in the intensive care unit, it is considered the largest in Germany. Oncological diseases in the clinic are also treated with minimally invasive thoracic surgery. Doctors do everything possible to avoid large incisions and significantly simplify the patient's recovery process after surgery. The clinic also uses classical methods of surgery, resection, pneumonectomy, lobectomy. Before performing such operations, doctors conduct additional monitoring of the patient's condition and determine possible risks. Much attention in the clinic is paid to the diagnosis of lung diseases. To make a diagnosis and make a decision about further treatment, the following methods are used: invasive bronchology, lung function diagnostics, including physical exertion examination, general and special allergy diagnostics, polysomnography, cardiorespiratory functional diagnostics, spiroergometry, echocardiography. The quality of services provided in the clinic is confirmed by the KTQ certificate, which is issued by a specialized certification organization in Germany. The clinic is also a certified medical facility that provides services to patients with lung cancer (certified by the German Cancer Society in 2009). And one of the leading organizations for thoracic surgery (certification from the Society of Thoracic Surgery received in 2008).

Excellent hospital, my son was born here 12 years ago, I had shoulder surgery here, and now my knee (internal meniscus and cartilage damage) has never had complaints! The nursing staff and doctors are friendly and, in my opinion, technically very competent. I am very satisfied and can only recommend it.
Many thanks to Professor Petersen and his team for the simple, quick planning of the operation and competent postoperative care. Even more thanks to the whole team at Station 3 a for everything. Super friendly sisters and guardians, always in a good mood - you can just feel comfortable there. Orthopedics / traumatology is definitely recommended if necessary!
It was the first time I had to go to the hospital, and I had my very first operation in my life. I have to say that I don't think I can choose a better hospital than this one. Nursing staff gets a 1 with an asterisk. He was always there when you needed him. They were always friendly and helpful, and there were always smiles on their faces. When I arrived in the morning, and my operation was inevitable, they immediately tried to relieve my fear and distract me a little. Then everything went very quickly because I moved to position 1 and the operation had to take place. They pushed me into the operating room and were very scared. All the doctors were there for me and talked to me. They stroked my hand and were so nice that the fear gradually disappeared. Then I got painkillers, and since then I can't remember anything :) In the evening, the chief doctor came and pulled out the drainage. He was incredibly pleasant and helpful after almost 15 hours of work. It still took me a lot of time, even though the rescue center was full. Overall I was very happy and happy. Service staff 1+ Senior doctors + Chief physician 1 + * nurses 1+ custody 0c / d 1+ thank you for everything!!!!!!!
Broke my arm on Christmas Eve. I got into the emergency department in plastic hand surgery on December 29, 2016 (after the bruise subsided) and was groomed in Ward 4b! Thank you all! Surgical team, doctors and especially nurses! ((Haruna's sister is sunshine!) Now 2017 is going to be a good year, and if not, I'll get back to you!

At the beginning of this quarter, I took a course in the treatment of lung cancer at this hospital. I studied the patient's review of the Evangelische lungenklinik offers from a number of clinics in Israel, Korea, Turkey, Germany, and the USA. Friends advised me to apply here because of the clear specialization of this medical center on tumors of such localization. An operation was required, but thanks to modern technologies, it was possible to do with minimal intervention and additional procedures. I am grateful to the doctors for their professionalism. I hope the disease is over forever
In January 2018, I was diagnosed with bronchiectasia. The disease is quite rare, so I was immediately recommended to go to a specialized institution for treatment abroad. I studied the issue, contacted several centers, of course, compared different options: the cost of treatment in Israel and Germany was comparable, I chose Germany because in the Evangelical Clinic lung diseases are its direct profile. It required removal of damaged areas of the bronchi, taking medications, oxygen therapy, etc. Now, after rehabilitation, I feel good. I want to thank my doctors for this.
My mother, Ms. Kruger, has been treated perfectly in the clinic since the beginning of May 2020, and both operations also went more than well. The long journey from South Berlin was worth it, and the senior consultant, Dr. Graf and other doctors, as well as the nurses from station 207 A were very attentive, friendly and did a very good job. You were in good hands and felt comfortable all the time. Follow-up treatment is also carried out there, and I can recommend the clinic with a clear conscience.
The recording procedure is a bit burdensome, and since I was there on Monday, it was very busy, and I had to wait 2-3 hours. However, the staff is very friendly and answers all questions. At station 205 B, I would especially like to emphasize the care, competence and friendliness of the nurses - just fine. As with other patients, cleanliness should be criticized. The lady does not need 2 minutes in the toilet in the room, then the floor is quickly wiped. The window sill, doors and handles did not see a rag during my stay. The shared shower is located in the hallway and does not make the best impression. This needs to be improved urgently. In the first week of July, my second stay is approaching, and I feel good in this clinic.
