Pirogov’s City Clinical Hospital No. 1 is one of the oldest and largest medical institutions in Moscow. It was founded in 1802 and named after the outstanding surgeon and scientist Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov. The hospital is subordinate to the Moscow Department of Health. It employs more than 1,000 doctors, nurses, orderlies and other medical personnel.
The Pirogov Hospital is the official clinic of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N. I. Pirogov. This hospital allows patients to receive not only highly qualified care, but also to benefit from the latest developments and technologies in medicine.
