How it works
Patient feedback on treatment:
Hoechst Hospital in Frankfurt am Main (Germany)
Information or knowing that you are well informed is very important to me. Especially when you have an operation and you trust yourself to other people. I've missed information somewhere. From today's point of view, on the day of the preliminary examination, an "information sheet for patients undergoing gallbladder surgery" would be important to me, containing information about the preparation, the day of the operation, the 1st postoperative day, the 2nd postoperative day and advice. / the instructions on the rules of behavior in the house are described (see photo).
And what is the daily routine after surgery in the ward (rounds, breakfast, examinations ...)? Or what pills are in the medibox that the night nurse left without the attached medication plan? Suddenly there's more than usual, but what? For everyday life, I also need an information sheet that could be put on the bedside table when I arrive at the ward.
Of course, you can ask anything. On the other hand, I am aware of the "emergency medical care" and the desire for a different density of staff, and many questions may be too difficult for the staff!?
With all the criticism ... Thank you all!
Even during the Covid19 period, the entire staff of the A3L and A3R wards always remains friendly, balanced and, above all, humane.
Stressful situations are not transmitted to the patient, but rather are transmitted calmly, professionally and with great patience.
They always find time, listen and help. If a nurse or nurse calls with a button, everyone is ready to help. Even if it is a banal thing, for example, a pillow has fallen to the floor, and a pregnant woman cannot bend down to pick it up, they will help you here without grumbling and grimacing.
Attention is paid to the observance of visiting hours (from 15:00 to 18:00), and each visitor must strictly observe it so that ALL patients receive the necessary rest and relaxation. (One day at 2:30 p.m. it was too early for me and I wasn't allowed in and had to wait 30 minutes outside, or I wanted to stay a little longer than 6 p.m. and had to leave anyway.) Exceptions, of course, confirm the rule. For example, in the case of an emergency Caesarean section on Sunday at 3 a.m.
Doctors: Inside, the nurses and nurses are doing just fine here!
Thanks for that! ! !
But they told me very unkindly that they would not treat me, because this is not an emergency, the registrar makes the diagnosis here, and I could go to an ophthalmologist. It's not my problem - finished and I have to try it at the university clinic after 20:00 Does it comply with the clinic rules???? Why do I need an ambulance in Hoechst ???
Tomorrow I will have an operation in Hoechst, and I can run from doctor to doctor - this is a really difficult ordeal for me and my child, and if I knew that I would have to wait 5 hours to take a crown test and an appointment with an anesthesiologist, I would never have started this operation. Not in your hospital. Thanks for nothing.
