Patient feedback on treatment:
KUIMS Clinic in Seoul (South Korea)

We publish only real reviews
I am surprised that it is smaller than I thought about the university hospital. Friendly and reliable medical staff
We came to the clinic for the second time. The husband was examined with an emphasis on the gastrointestinal tract. Quickly, efficiently. The examination revealed polyps, which were removed on the same day. The translator girls are very kind, explain everything, accompany. I recommend it!
Good afternoon! the stay at the clinic was excellent. clean, comfortable, understandable. check-up is about 2 hours. I did not go there for the purpose of being treated - therefore I do not write about the result. a doctor's appointment is quite expensive, it is paid separately, lasts 5-10 minutes, gives recommendations and everything - be healthy) the clinic does not do any plastic surgery or anything related to unproven methods of treating unrecognized diseases (osteochondrosis, dystonia)
An ordinary clinic, I didn't see anything special. They prescribed good medications, I felt better. There were also very good translators. It is always better to be insured, because if there is insurance, the clinic provides a 50% discount%
It wasn't what we expected. We wanted either confirmation or refutation of the diagnosis. In the end, we got nothing. Due to age, while the coordinator doctor could have warned that in Korea such diagnoses are made from the age of two, we could have postponed the trip. I didn't like the clinic because it wasn't so childish. Severance would have been better, but they refused us, apparently because they were young. Therefore, we went to Kvims, nevertheless, he turned out to be not quite the right direction, that is, pediatric pediatrics is not his direction.
We arrived in advance with a child from another city, the first minus is that we have to wait, because four patients were registered for 14h. I think because of this, the doctor was in a hurry with the appointments, she didn't even look at me properly, listened to my problem through a translator, expressed her point of view, (I had doubts between allergy and systemic lupus), said that it was most likely an allergy, but for YOUR OWN REASSURANCE you can still take tests for lupus, mine apparently wasn't enough, they cost $ 840 for immediate reassurance, I'm sitting and I don't know-not necessarily, the translator took me out of the office, so I left 6 min took my appointment and that's it!!! I gave $70 and left without understanding anything, I knew all this in Russia, but no one gave me specifics. In general , I am not thrilled with such a reception , the only translator is good
The clinic has a very low level of service. They arrived at 12 p.m. and were kept in the waiting room until 16.30. This is despite the fact that they knew that a patient with stage 4 cancer had arrived, metastases in the spine. it is very difficult for an old person with such a diagnosis to sit. My dad is 75 years old, my mom is 71. It's hard for a healthy, young man to sit in one place for almost 5 hours. The parents chose a place in the 6-bed ward. A single Vip is no different from it. The small room is stuffy and cramped. The accompanying person is provided with a seat. This is a roll-out mattress from under the bed, covered with leather or leatherette. There is no bedspread. We were given a blanket when asked. And Dad hung it on a nearby bed, so that it wouldn't blow out from under it. So I slept for 5 days in clothes on a mattress. On the day when they were supposed to do an MRI of the spine, my sister came to the reception several times with a request to take my mother early. As a result, the MRI was done at 14-30. All this time, Mom has not been drinking or eating since the evening. Terribly exhausted. The MRI was done for a long time, mom says, probably 40 minutes, and all this time she was lying on a cold surface, she was very cold, and as a result, mom was tormented by severe pain in the spine. When we sent Mom to Korea, we thought that mom would be well anesthetized there, that Korea had the best drugs. When Dad said that mom got worse there, that she was suffering from pain, from which she constantly cried, I asked her to write the name of the painkiller. The nurse immediately sent the name of the anesthesia to our doctor. It turned out that she was given paracetamol (why is unclear) and a tramadol tablet, whereas here our Mother received painkillers three times a day with morphine. About what everything was indicated in the Russian statement. As a result, we have not received an extract at home for 5 days already. I do not recommend this clinic
1. The Doctor is unkind - I can't ask myself what exactly. The only thing I need to do is make sure I can't wait to find out if I have any issues with my family.
2. Parking fee-I need a resident guardian who needs to be operated on and hospitalized, but I can't get up and down because of the crown. You have to pay for surgery or medical expenses on the same day or pay for parking. It's only 3 hours and 14,000 won. Outrageous
3. Small. There aren't many amenities here. There's almost nothing to eat..
The head of the hospital is an otolaryngologist. It was very warm, and I was so grateful that you repeated the explanation several times and listened to the patient. But, the female professor at the clinic of infectious Medicine is not really an eight-year-old child, and she is laughing at the patient.
He did not wake up in the morning, and one round came after 12:00 a day during the 4th hospitalization.
Professor Ko Yong Jeong from the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism is also very kind.
Regardless of what reservations are made to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, foreigners are the first.
Obstetrics and Gynecology female Professor Yu Eun
Every time I go to the hospital, I sit in a humiliating chair every six months.
I'm afraid to move on to the third stage, but I haven't explained
I have the patient's right to look at the patient too badly and ask about my condition.
I came for a medical examination, but I understand that it is unpleasant, because there are a lot of visitors, but everyone behaves rudely and unkindly. Be kind only to the words. The workflow is slow and the waiting time is long. When undergoing an endoscopy, there is no respect for the patient's body, for example, a nurse grabs the face of the mask with her hand and removes it, grabs clothes and pulls it down. Even the door is open for inspection. Even if you ask to stop because you can't breathe on the way, it will be amazing, so if you can, use a sleep endoscopy. If you can, go to another hospital. Even if elderly people in the hospital don't wear masks, no one says anything. Those who do not want to receive the crown should go to another hospital. Since the cervical cancer test is not performed by men, and the nurse does not respect patients, please contact female workers.
In general, I liked and satisfied everything, in the clinic they treated me very well and carefully, examined and prescribed treatment.
Fortunately, after a personal consultation with a neurosurgeon at the clinic, the doctor removed suspicions of a brain tumor and referred her to a neurologist for observation. Therefore, work with an ophthalmologist went first. I had to stay a little longer on the recommendation of the ophthalmologist, the doctor was concerned that my eye pressure was not falling. The doctor's interest in the process of my recovery, in the process of selecting drugs, was visible, for which I am very grateful to the doctor.
Of course, diagnostics in Korea is a very expensive pleasure. But I am very grateful to the doctors of the clinic "Kvims" and the staff of the clinic, I am very glad that I responded so quickly to the invitation of the hospital and came to this hospital for examination.
After the examination in the hospital, I was given a diagnosis that our doctors would never have made in Russia in my life, I am sure that here they could not simply collect all the data together, analyze and make a diagnosis. I am very satisfied, I hope that the selected treatment in the clinic will help me and put me on my feet. Now my general condition is returning to normal, let's see what happens next.
The girls-translators are great, thank you very much.
Very satisfied with the visit to the clinic, from the international department to the clinics to the staff, great teamwork
First of all, I was struck by the diagnostic equipment. Any tests are taken painlessly. Everything in the diagnostic center is thought out to the smallest detail to create convenience and comfort for the patients of the medical center. The results of the examination are ready the next day, which allows you to quickly identify the cause of the health problem. Korean doctors are completely imbued with the patient's problems, try to help, support and do not let the patient go until they make an accurate diagnosis. I was very pleased with the work of the translators of the medical center "Quims", who constantly lead by the hand through the offices in a large medical institution, tell and explain everything in detail, and do not leave me alone with my problems.
Hello! I flew to Korea for diagnostics with my granddaughter. The fact is that I am already old and it is difficult for me to move around. At some point, I even wanted to cancel the trip, but my granddaughter insisted. I was very worried about the whole organization process. But everything went just fine, we were met at the airport and taken to the hotel, the driver did not leave until we were settled. The next day we went to the KVIMS clinic, the sensations were indescribable.
The clinic is large, bright and modern, I really liked it. In the hall I was already met by a girl translator, who was with me during the diagnostics, and also accompanied me to appointments with doctors. To my deepest surprise, I went through all the diagnostics in a few hours. It's just amazing, because here I spent weeks on this, if not months, standing in long lines. Literally a few days later, the results of the diagnosis were ready, I went to the specialist I needed, who prescribed me medications and treatment. Everything is so fast and comfortable. I liked it very much! Thank you!

All was good. The only thing that overshadowed the first appointment with the doctor. I had to sell more than two hours, although I came 15 minutes before the appointed time. Everything else was great!
Everything is super! I really liked the service of the KUIMS clinic, the work of doctors, professors, everything is very fast and well-organized.
Both the doctor and the nurse were kind, but the appointment was too late, so I got tired of waiting and it seemed to hurt me even more.
There was a great treatment experience here. The staff spoke good English. Everything is organized and clean.
