Levinstein Rehabilitation Center in Ra'anan (Israel)
Clinic specialization
Loewenstein Rehabilitation Hospital, one of the best rehabilitation centers in Israel, is situated in the city of Raanan, which is justin 20-minute drive from Tel Aviv. Opened in 1958, it has now become the largest medical facility in the country dedicated to the recovery of people after road accidents, complex surgical procedures, accident victims, and those in a coma. Every year, about 12,000 patients undergo full inpatient medical rehabilitation, and another 30,000 receive outpatient counseling. The recovery program for each patient is developed individually, taking into account his pathologies and indications. The practical developments of the doctors of the Levinstein Rehabilitation Center, based on extensive practice and experience, allow them to be applied in hospitals around the world. For example, the LOTCA system for diagnosing cognitive disorders in patients with brain damage, created by scientists at the Levinstein Center, is used in most modern rehabilitation centers around the world. The specialists of the center developed a scale for determining sociable abilities for patients who are in a vegetative state. According to the statistics:
-
70 % of patients, patients who are in a coma as a result of a traumatic brain injury, were successfully rehabilitated and returned to consciousness.
-
92% of patients diagnosed with stroke returned home, half of them do not need outside help.
-
50% of patients with spinal injuries were partially or completely recovered.
-
56% of patients with head injuries became able-bodied after treatment and returned to work
The Levinstein Clinic's rehabilitation programs for adults and children take place in a hospital setting or on the basis of a day-long hospitalization, which allows patients to choose an acceptable method of recovery after most serious illnesses.

How it works
Patient feedback on treatment:
Levinstein Rehabilitation Center in Ra'anan (Israel)
P.S.: Before starting rehabilitation, we chose a center, read reviews about the Levinstein center, most of which are not clearly based on what and contradict reality.
I would like to say separately about the kitchen. The food is at the highest level. Very tasty and a lot. Variety in dishes. The center is located in the quiet city of Raanana. Near the most beautiful Central Park.
It's no secret that treatment for foreigners in Israel is quite expensive, in our case $1300 per day. And if you think that you will pay such a lot of money and get a full-fledged treatment and approach for them, then you are deeply mistaken, this does not work in Levinstein!!!
We were not warned that no treatment would be performed on weekends (Friday, Saturday), and the money was written off at full cost as for weekdays with a full course of treatment. When they began to ask a question about the weekend, they explained to us that $1300 per day is for a bed and that's it. For the money that we paid for the clinic, we went and literally demanded procedures and treatment for our child. And if you do not require it, you will get the very minimum. They explained to us that if our child is prescribed more procedures than other patients in this clinic, then local patients (Israelis) will begin to resent. But there were also such days when specialists were engaged with our child for only 2-3 hours a day. And this is for $1300. To all requests to meet with the head doctor of this clinic and explain the situation about the dishonestly written off money for the weekend and insufficient treatment, there is one answer: he has no time and he will not meet about the money.
That is, it turns out that when it comes to paying the bill issued by the clinic, they draw beautifully, and as soon as questions arise after payment, so no one except a representative of medical tourism will talk to you.
Therefore, before you consider the treatment option in Levinstein, make sure that you have clarified all the details with them, because you can face such issues that will simply remain unresolved. We have personally seen this.
The treatment of our daughter was absolutely not worth the money that we paid.
