Levinstein Rehabilitation Center in Ra'anan (Israel)

After seven months of rehabilitation in the hospital named after We are free and we are going home. We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff-doctors, brothers and sisters, support staff, cleaners, security guards and kitchen staff. For your help, support, smile and care. At first, we were hospitalized in another place, so we have something to compare with.

She underwent rehabilitation at the Levinstein Center in December 2018 . After a complicated spinal surgery, I arrived at this center in a wheelchair in a weakened state. After 3 weeks, as a result of the complex work of the specialists of this center: doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and many others, I was discharged from this center, having achieved high results and standing on crutches. The entire staff of the rehabilitation center is very attentive to the issue of restoring the patient. Professionals really work here in their field.
P.S.: Before starting rehabilitation, we chose a center, read reviews about the Levinstein center, most of which are not clearly based on what and contradict reality.
I would like to say separately about the kitchen. The food is at the highest level. Very tasty and a lot. Variety in dishes. The center is located in the quiet city of Raanana. Near the most beautiful Central Park.

A pretty good center, excellent therapists and nurses. The orderlies are generally fine, but some of them were unnecessarily rude. Dr. Soroker's bedside manner is "al-ha-panim", that is, maybe he is a good doctor, but again, unnecessarily rude to families trying to cope with the situation.

He underwent rehabilitation in April-May, after treatment he did not receive a single discharge or recommendation. After six months of requests to send documents, I did not receive anything. And so they treat well, only sessions of 30-45 minutes are occupational therapy, physiotherapy, a general group. The hotel at the hospital is not very good - cockroaches run around, noise from neighbors at night, the food is average.

We would like to share with you our experience of treatment in Israel, in one of the leading clinics of this country - Levinstein.
It's no secret that treatment for foreigners in Israel is quite expensive, in our case $1300 per day. And if you think that you will pay such a lot of money and get a full-fledged treatment and approach for them, then you are deeply mistaken, this does not work in Levinstein!!!
We were not warned that no treatment would be performed on weekends (Friday, Saturday), and the money was written off at full cost as for weekdays with a full course of treatment. When they began to ask a question about the weekend, they explained to us that $1300 per day is for a bed and that's it. For the money that we paid for the clinic, we went and literally demanded procedures and treatment for our child. And if you do not require it, you will get the very minimum. They explained to us that if our child is prescribed more procedures than other patients in this clinic, then local patients (Israelis) will begin to resent. But there were also such days when specialists were engaged with our child for only 2-3 hours a day. And this is for $1300. To all requests to meet with the head doctor of this clinic and explain the situation about the dishonestly written off money for the weekend and insufficient treatment, there is one answer: he has no time and he will not meet about the money.
That is, it turns out that when it comes to paying the bill issued by the clinic, they draw beautifully, and as soon as questions arise after payment, so no one except a representative of medical tourism will talk to you.
Therefore, before you consider the treatment option in Levinstein, make sure that you have clarified all the details with them, because you can face such issues that will simply remain unresolved. We have personally seen this.
The treatment of our daughter was absolutely not worth the money that we paid.

Everything was fine. We got a little confused with the time of admission, and since the clinic is located in another city, it was difficult to immediately adjust our plans. In the end, everything ended well. Thanks.
