The MalvazinkyRehabilitation Clinic specializes in the treatment of the musculoskeletal system, prosthetics of joints and the provision of services for the rehabilitation of patients.
Having the status of an elite sanatorium for the highest party leadership of Czechoslovakia in the 1950s-1980s, this institution was transformed into an advanced emergency medical center for Prague in 1989, and since 2003 there has been a rehabilitation orthopedic center. In 2013, a new building was opened, designed to comfortably accommodate up to 60 patients.
From the first days of its operation, the MalvazinkyRehabilitation Clinic has been focused on serving foreign clients. Comfort, safety and complete rehabilitation are the priority of the clinic staff, for which a wide range of additional services is provided.
The MalvazinkyRehabilitationClinic performs more than 1,200 operations a year, including knee and hip replacements. The success rate of endoprosthesis procedures is 95%.This throughput is provided by highly qualified clinic staff and well-established postoperative recovery techniques, but most importantly: the use of minimally invasive methods of joint replacement, which avoids damage to muscles and tendons.
The rehabilitation department occupies 60 wards with adjustable beds and all the amenities for patients. It is provided with the most modern equipment that allows patients to recover from injuries or surgical procedures in the shortest possible time. In addition to the swimming pool and sports center, the department has an occupational therapist, psychotherapist and speech therapist. Rehabilitation specialists develop an individual recovery plan for each patient.
The high quality of service and the qualifications of doctors are confirmed by the certificate of the Joint Accreditation Commission of the Czech Republic (SAK).
