The Markus Clinic was founded in 1881. Today it is one of the specialized medical institutions that provide services to the patients suffering from heart and vascular diseases, oncological diseases, problems in the field of gynecology, proctology, gastroenterology, urology. The main specialization of the clinic is minimally invasive surgical techniques that help in solving serious problems of internal organs,  minimizing the number of incisions. As a result of using this technique, the patient does not have noticeable scars on the body after the operation. A small number of punctures heal quickly and painlessly. The Markus clinic has the most modern equipment that allows the staff to determine the cause of the ailment quicklyand help the patient even with a very serious diagnosis. Special attention is paid to patients suffering from cancer. They perform radiation diagnostics to minimize the harmful effects of radiation during the procedures. The use of the so-called "green laser", which is able to minimize the risk of complications in the recovery period after surgery, has become very popular in the clinic. Experimental methods of cancer treatment are also widely used. The clinic performs the following procedures:

  • Green laser irradiation»

  • Robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery

  • Radiation therapy using the latest linear accelerators

  • Selective brachytherapy

  • Poly-and monochemotherapy according to an individual prescription

  • Excision of tumors with a gamma and cyber knife

  • Chemoembolization

  • Radiofrequencyablationoftumors

The traditional pedantic German approach to treatment and the medical practice verified over the years, combined with the latest technologies and low-invasive surgical techniques, give an amazing result of the effectiveness of the treatment of even the most complex diseases. This is confirmed by numerous certificates of quality of medical services (ISO, KTQ, TUV).

Patient feedback on treatment:
Markus Clinic in Frankfurt am Main (Germany)

Last year, I began to worry about abdominal pain. I did not attach much importance to them, there were not so many uncomfortable sensations. One day I finally realized that the pain is happening more and more often and it's better to check if everything is normal with the body. To do this, she first turned to our city clinic. I passed a full examination, but my doctor advised me to go to a medical institution with great opportunities. She noticed something suspicious in the images of internal organs, but did not want to scare ahead of time and offered to be safe. As an option, you could go to Moscow or go to an advanced foreign center. My family and I considered different options, since the pricing policy of medical institutions also differed significantly in different countries and even within the same state. We wrote to several medical institutions online, sent the necessary documentation to their specialists and very soon received an answer. Diagnostics abroad, of course, cost more, but I wanted to be sure. The choice was made on the Marcus clinic in Frankfurt am Main. It was here that I underwent a full diagnosis. The results confirmed that I will need cancer treatment abroad. We decided that we would do the operation here, in Frankfurt, because during the visit and examination we realized how technologically and qualitatively everything is here. I needed surgery and additional therapy. In general, I must say that cancer treatment abroad is not as scary as it seemed to us at first. If you are dealing with professionals in their field, then the chances of a successful recovery are much higher. In addition, I would like to note the goodwill of all the hospital staff – here I have always felt surrounded by genuine warmth and care.

Patient treated Urolithiasis disease in the clinic Markus Clinic in Frankfurt am Main (Germany)

In the autumn of last year, I often felt abdominal pain. I didn't know what it was connected with, so I had to undergo a comprehensive examination. It turned out that the problem was urological, and the pain appeared due to urolithiasis. Due to other concomitant diseases and age, it was undesirable to undergo treatment at home – a doctor friend said that it was better to go to a good foreign hospital. They didn't choose for long – I wrote through the form on the website to several large clinics in different countries. The priority was Germany, Israel, Turkey. The cost of treatment in Israel was more acceptable, but I was more inclined to the German clinic, although I had never been to this country before. It took several weeks to prepare the documents, and the host party helped us with organizational issues. Of the inconveniences - you need to transfer the entire amount for treatment immediately, putting it on the hospital deposit. However, we managed to solve this problem, we had to take out a loan. In general, the treatment was successful, now I do not feel unwell. I had the stones crushed, it did not require surgical intervention. In addition, I needed a course of additional therapy to help eliminate the root causes of the formation of stones. I would like to thank all those doctors who participated in my treatment, as well as the hospital staff for their sensitivity and attentiveness. Of course, a program abroad is not cheap, but I am sure that health is worth it.
Everything is fine in the emergency department, but the service and hygiene are ruinous. I stayed there for two days and did not receive a diagnosis. Everything is in writing in technical terms and bad information from the sister. The doctors stayed away. Hygiene in the toilets (rooms like visitors' toilets) was really bad.
Absolutely a good hospital and very friendly care and good treatment. (Orthopedic Department) the professor is a very conscientious and pleasant person...
For 7 days I was in Ward 15 from 10 to 17 May with pain in the upper abdomen. No information before the exam, no information after the exam. On May 12, they found out what could be the reason for the examination, I was informed on May 16. From May 12 to May 17, despite the diagnosis, antibiotic therapy is not returned to me. I am not informed about the results of sampling, the examination is not completed until the end of the day, but I was sent home without explanation. I had to leave the clinic to be treated with antibiotics on an outpatient basis. I thank the doctors from radiology, sonography, gastroenterology for a quick examination. They did their job, which I can't say about the doctor who was in charge of me.
I gave birth to my boy there and was very happy
I gave birth at Marcus Hospital 3 weeks ago and everything went great. The staff looked after us around the clock. I want to thank everyone and especially the midwives, although they are numerically insufficient, they are excellent mastered thank you
I gave birth twice in this clinic. In 2010 and 2013. I liked both visits. Midwives and doctors here are quite young, but they left an impression of themselves as competent specialists. From the very beginning, my husband and I felt comfortable. Everything was explained to us, no one reacted negatively to us. Everyone was extremely attentive and devoted as much time as needed.
In ward No. 23, everyone was also friendly and responsive.
The food was not bad, I was satisfied with the room. I will give birth again only in this clinic. ;)
The delivery room is like a fairy tale. Round soft pink four-poster bed! Cozy, comfortable, sterile and clean! Midwives are golden, doctors are super competent!!! I advise everyone!
