The National Medical Research Center of Oncology of Rostov-on-Don (FSBI "NMRC of Oncology" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation) is one of the leading medical institutions in Russia, where specialized advisory assistance, diagnosis and treatment of various oncological diseases are provided. Every year, more than 20 thousand patients receive treatment at the center.
The center consists of:
All types of antitumor drug therapy are used: chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy. Chemotherapy drugs are prescribed in a personalized manner, according to the results of molecular genetic studies that are conducted in the morphological center. The modern radiotherapy equipment of the Institute allows to use high-precision irradiation of even small foci with maximum protection of the surrounding tissues.
The staff of the National Medical Research Center consists of more than half of the honored doctors of the Russian Federation, candidates and doctors of sciences. Oncologists actively participate in international scientific and practical conferences, undergo internships in leading cancer centers in Europe, Asia and America.
The research Center is actively engaged in scientific activities, developing and improving technologies of personalized medicine for the accurate and effective selection of drug therapy for a specific patient. NMRC is the base for the Department of Oncology of the Rostov State Medical University.
The center consists of:
- 9 diagnostic departments;
- 17 specialized clinical departments;
- 5 scientific and experimental laboratories;
- Rehabilitation center on the basis of the sanatorium "Rus".

For the sake of objectivity, I will say that I liked the attitude in the ultrasound diagnostics department, the doctor is very attentive, empathizes with patients, unfortunately I did not remember the last name. Histology is questionable, the diagnosis is made almost only on the basis of viewing glasses, there is some kind of rush in everything. In the polyclinic, the doctor's attitude is not bad, but the time is not observed, they can only invite you to the office in an hour or an hour and a half. The management of the institution is adequate, well done!!!
I was examined there, they charge a lot of money, but you need to get to an experienced doctor, I got to a young doctor to a girl, rather after university I just came, according to the tests I could not diagnose me, this doctor asked for help from other doctors, no one helped her, said come tomorrow, knowing that I am from the region, I do not live in Rostov. Why put an intern without a mentor or assistant, it's not respect for people. And they also record on the phone for a certain time, came and there was a queue, horror like herring, why do you need a record. I wanted to make an appointment with a certain doctor, the registry does not know when this doctor will take, they say it is unknown when it will be, what kind of nonsense, what kind of attitude?!I categorically do not recommend this center, be impudent!!!
