Patient feedback on treatment:
Sikarin Hospital in Bangkok (Thailand)

We publish only real reviews
It used to be a good hospital with reasonable prices, but the last time I was there, the insurance budget was never enough. My daughter needed 3 stitches on her leg, and the £6,000 from the insurance wasn't enough to cover it. I am very disappointed!
The equipment is good (the rooms are lousy), the doctors are fine, but: bureaucracy, customer and patient service-zero out of ten. The worst hospital in the Bangkok area. Avoid like the plague.
excellent. I went there myself. I (mistakenly) self-diagnosed an angina attack, but actually experienced a small heart attack. VERY professional and thorough examination and testing. Then he stayed overnight in the intensive care unit for a coronary angiogram the next morning. The staff was beyond praise. Not everyone spoke English, but there was always someone who could help. The doctors are excellent, and the observation is excellent. Spent an extra night in a motel-style room. Everything is very well priced, and insurance in any case covered 96% of the cost. I would highly recommend it compared to expensive well-known hospitals.
I didn't read reviews before choosing this hospital, fortunately I didn't, as I have nothing to say except pleasant things about my treatment and care, I was always aware of what kind of treatment I received.
As a result, I had 2 operations, and all the staff helped me a lot.
Perhaps they changed the way they make you pay, as I had very little time to wait when I had to pay for the counter, and for large payments they came to my room.
So, Ernie, Randy and Gigu, all the IMC staff, and especially the English-speaking nurses in my ward.
Good services, English-speaking doctors will make you feel at home.. if you are looking, hospitals will take care of you. This is the hospital you have to come to. The price is affordable, they use new technological materials.
I highly recommend this hospital and am very satisfied with its services. From providing us with vehicles to providing us with all kinds of assistance. The doctors and assistants took care of all our concerns and behaved very politely. Especially thanks to Mr. Ernie Roy Valencia for taking such care of us.
The first registration took about 20 minutes, and an English-speaking Filipino helped me with the forms. She occupied one floor and waited about 10 minutes to see a doctor. I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that waiting at the checkout and pharmacy took about 30 minutes, and there were only a few people in front of me. The staff is very polite and pleasant.

The prices are about the same as in other private hospitals in the area.

P.S. I could use my social security (to get Thai prices), but they said I would have to move to another building (older) and the process would take 2-3 hours. So instead, decide to pay at the prices of foreigners.
Their SSO department is a real nightmare. A good place to waste your time waiting all day just to chat with an unkind doctor. Their level of service is worse than in any public hospital.

It took me 4 hours of waiting to see a doctor, and in the end I just got painkillers and signed up for a mammogram the next month?
Don't you think it's taking too long?

I won't be coming back, but I hope the hospital will do something to improve the service, because I saw that not a single person in the SSO was happy with your slow process and lack of service.
I am extremely satisfied with the experience from start to finish at the Sikarin Hospital. A lovely big hotel, modern and very clean, with wonderful staff. I felt in a good hand at every step. Special thanks to Ernie Valencia, the International Nurse Coordinator - professional, compassionate and concise.
Very fast and friendly service. They offer a comprehensive health check with blood tests, X-rays and ultrasound at a very good price. The doctors and the main staff also spoke excellent English. The location offers very good parking and clean air compared to the more lively areas near the city center. Highly recommended for all foreigners.
