The St. Martinus-Krankenhaus Clinic's Obesity Center and Diabetes Center are considered to be the best in Germany, as confirmed by the accreditation of the International Federation of Surgery for Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO). Specialists solve the problem of adults and children’s obesity, offering the services of therapists, nutritionists, and perform all types of bariatric operations, including:

gastric bypass surgery;

endoscopic implantation of an air balloon;

partial removal (resection) of the stomach;

applying a bandage to the stomach area;

gastric clippings (stomach lumps are fixed with endoscopic clips);

endobarrier (a temporary implant that prevents the absorption of nutrients from the gastric mucosa, while food can normally pass through the intestines).
All surgical procedures are performed with the use of modern endoscopic and laparoscopic devices, which significantly increases the effectiveness of the execution and reduces the possibility of complications or side effects.
