Tharandter Wald Clinic in Dresden (Germany)
Clinic specialization
The Tharandter Wald Clinic, located on the outskirts of the forest of the same name, 20 km from Dresden, has established itself as one of the leading rehabilitation medical institutions in Central Saxony since 1997. It provides services for adult patients in the following areas:
-
neurology and Parkinson's disease;
-
early rehabilitation after intensive treatment;
-
orthopedics and traumatic surgery;
-
cardiology and internal diseases.
The relatively narrow specialization of the clinic allows you to provide each of the patients withthe maximum attention. The complex of medical buildings is more like a respectable hotel, where guests are offered maximum comfort and round-the-clock care of the staff. It all starts with the diagnosis. To do this, the clinic uses advanced equipment and experienced doctors. The clinic has its own offices for X-rays, sonography, video endoscopy, gastroscopy, and bronchoscopy. If necessary, patients are assigned a CT/MRI procedure on the basis of the partner clinic Tharandter Wald, the district hospital of Freiberg. The therapeutic program is made individually for each patient and includes more than a hundred procedures in the following areas:
-
physical therapy;
-
therapy of Parkinson's disease;
-
occupational therapy;
-
neuropsychological therapy.
-
speech therapy;
-
laser therapy;
-
neural and manual therapy.
The Tharandter Wald Clinic has been certified as a specialized clinic by the German Parkinson's Disease Association since 2008. In addition to the clinic-based procedures, each patient can continue their recovery at home, with the help of an individually designed exercise program.

How it works
Patient feedback on treatment:
Tharandter Wald Clinic in Dresden (Germany)

After heart surgery (3 shunts), you should treat the patient more sensitively... because the operations are much worse, and the people who need help, so the staff should make more effort!
A clinic with a heart should not be just a name!
The only alternative is toasted white bread at the dinner table. Unfortunately, not everyone likes it, and it's not very appetizing. It may not be that difficult for the patient to carry the trays that they filled themselves (or those that they filled with staff) to their place. (dark rolls, sausage. cheese, porridge soup) And such sentences "you have to see how it turns out" do not work at all!
Patients do not undergo rehabilitation in vain. You just need help and support. And who wants to eat for breakfast and dinner too?
An individual therapy plan adapted to the disease and adapted to the patient's condition! The nearby Tarandt Forest provides rest and relaxation.
