One of the first accredited medical centers in Germany specializing in the treatment of prostate cancer, the Dortmund Prostate Center has been operating since 2007. Already in 2010, there is an office equipped with a medical robot "Da Vinci", which is used for reconstructive operations (fistula surgery, fistula formation, ureteral reimplantation), prostatectomy, pyeloplasty, kidney resection. In the Dortmund Prostate Center, a psychologist gives advice to patients both during inpatient treatment and at the end of it. The center works with foreign clients – the medical staff is trained to receive Russian-speaking patients and will assist in the preparation of documents, communication with the embassy or consulate, organization of flights and accommodation. The Dortmund Prostate Center has been repeatedly praised by the German Cancer Society in recent years. Such results were achieved by highly qualified medical staff and the use of modern equipment at the level of the largest university hospitals.
