Specialized medical care for cancer patients in the Volgograd region has been provided since 1935. This function is effectively performed by theState budgetary healthcare institution“Volgograd Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary”(SBHI "VRCOD") since 1947. A large-scale modernization, aimed at technical re-equipment of the institution, improving the conditions of patient stay and general landscaping of the territory, was carried out here in 2017-2019.
Today, the dispensary is a modern multidisciplinary center for the fight against oncological diseases with the branches located in Volgograd, Volzhsky, Kamyshin, Mikhailovka and Uryupinsk.
  The following comprehensive treatment programs are running in the dispensary:
  • delayed breast reconstruction with plastic surgery with a skin-muscle flap;
  • radical resection of the breast with a plastic skin-muscle flap;
  • gastropancreatoduolenal resection;
  • laparoscopic gastric resection;
  • video endoscopic extirpation of the uterus;
  • rehabilitation program.
  Within the framework of the treatment programs, surgical intervention is carried outwith the use of minimally invasive methods, which eliminates the negative impact of the intervention on healthy tissues and reduces the patient's rehabilitation period.
The types of care provided include:

  • children's oncohematology.

For that, during this time, people came into the office without waiting in line, apparently according to some own principle, reception is conducted. I consider such an expectation of reception is not acceptable, there are delays, but not 1.5 hours. After 5 minutes of being at the reception, the doctor said that it would be necessary to come for the result on 8.04. And today I am waiting for an appointment again. The doctor is absent on the spot, when there will also be no information, it is not possible to get results and again this is a long wait. The nurse said that she does not solve such issues and there is no one to print the certificate. Why create a record for receiving results if they are not issued? If the specialist is not in place and he is involved in some other activity at this time. Outrageous. Every time to get to the reception , you have to guard the door for so long .
The medical staff is highly qualified, friendly and attentive. There are small hitches, but they are eliminated in a working order. Thank you very much to the doctors and God grant them health and patience, not to burn out and not

Otherwise, he will listen to so many claims and all this in an ordered, rough order. Just an ugly attitude.

It feels like the doctors of this hospital just don't care about patients, there are a lot of patients, my husband has lung cancer, and I have to go to an appointment with the patient, then take tests, then undergo ultrasound, and all this on different days, and we pay for everything. We travel from the Krasnoarmeysky district 2-3 times a week, my husband does not work, I take leave from work. Generally a madhouse
We signed up in advance, arrived from another region, it was cold, went into the room, the guard kicked us out saying that "we only work from 8 am", there is no respect for people who came at night from other regions, there was even nowhere to wait.
There is no respect for patients despite the fact that services are paid and people who come from another region, despite their age, can't wait for at least a respectful attitude.

I contacted the baby by appointment, as a result, I stood in the general queue for 3 hours, while people were brought into the office without any record, and I stood and waited for my appointment for 3 hours
