Mahdi Rezai-MD, oncologist-mammologist.
Rezai studied medicine at the Heinrich Heine University of Dusseldorf from 1975 to 1981 and defended his dissertation there in 1982. After completing an internship at the Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the capital of Dusseldorf-Gerresheim, he was appointed a senior doctor in 1987. After just one year, he became the deputy chief physician in the Department of Senology and soon concentrated on the treatment of breast diseases. Since the 80s, he primarily conducted medical practice and continuously improved himself in the field of organ-preserving treatment. Since 1997, Rezai has been the director of the Center for the treatment of breast diseases at the hospital in Dusseldorf.
