Marek Krul is the head of the 1st Department of Cardiology and Angiology at the American Heart of Poland in Ustroni.
The doctor performs coronary and peripheral angioplasty of the upper and lower extremities, kidneys, and carotid artery.
Dr. Krul knows the methods of restoring the blood flow of small vessels of the heart in ischemic disease. He became the first Polish surgeon who cleared the right coronary artery of plaques using the thinnest conductor (a special medical instrument for retrograde interventions).thus, the surgeon gained access to small blood vessels from the left coronary artery. Thanks to this surgical technique, the doctor can perform operations on patients without the risk of a second heart attack.
