Rainer Kotz is a specialist in orthopedics, spine surgery, and surgical treatment of bone cancer.

The professor became one of the first doctors who performed hip replacement using the minimally invasive AMIS method. He was the initiator and participant in the development of a unique technique for pediatric orthopedic oncosurgery — endoprosthetics of bones with "growing" prostheses after the removal of a tumor. This means that the installed endoprosthesis can be adjusted as the child's bone grows.

Since 2010-Director of the Vienna Private Clinic.

Work Experience of 51 years.
