Yakov Schechter

A world-renowned oncologist, a leading Israeli specialist in the treatment of metastatic melanoma. He is the organizer and head of the Ella Melanoma Treatment Clinic, which provides screening of patients at risk for the development of melanoma, as well as comprehensive treatment of this disease, including surgery, immunotherapy and other oncological procedures. In recent years, he has completely cured hundreds of patients with metastatic melanoma. He heads the Israeli Society for the Treatment of Melanoma.
