Pirogov’s City Clinical Hospital No. 1 is one of the oldest and largest medical institutions in Moscow. It was founded in 1802 and named after the outstanding surgeon and scientist Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov.
The Federal Center of Cardiovascular Surgery was founded in 2010 as a part of the “Health” federal project to provide high-tech medical care to patients with cardiac problems.
