The Athens Medical Center is a large multifunctional medical institution, where more than 400 thousand patients are treated annually, 6,000 of them are foreigners. This is due to the high level of specialists of the clinic and good equipment.
The department of robotic surgery is equipped with Da Vinci devices of the latest generation. With their help, more than 4,000 thousand high-precision minimally invasive interventions are performed annually. Some of the robotic operations were performed in this clinic for the first time in the world. Kind staff, but terribly organized. At first they couldn't find the appointment I made two days ago, so I had to wait an hour. Now they called me for a CT scan, but they had the wrong file and the wrong name. So I went back to the waiting room, watching everyone who had entered before me. I'm not coming back.
I have a clear vision and increased demands from hospitals because I grew up in a public hospital because of my mother's profession. I have always been suspicious of the private sector, but today I reviewed this particular institution. He has nothing to do with facilities and infrastructure, since he is almost always at a high level in everything private, but with his staff. He was friendly, polite and helpful, but most importantly, he had experience, even though many of them were young. They really cared about my problem and took care of my health as if they were my family. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart, and especially the cardiologist-specialist Mr. Vassilios Panagiotis, because in addition to my health, they offered me the best hospital experience I have ever had.
We operated on our 11-month-old son at the pediatric center. First of all, let me mention the most important thing, it's cleanliness. Nurses are smart, polite, everywhere, despite the workload! They were all perfect.
I had a very good experience in surgery at every stage of the process, from accounting to doctors and medical staff to diagnostic tests, the ward and in general I was satisfied before the operation. Then followed a sad story with an incredibly inflated price, because there was metlife insurance. For an inguinal hernia 7000 !!! for my participation!
Reading the negative reviews, I visited the hospital biased and scared after the injury my son received in basketball. People are professional, kind, responsive and will help you with everything you need to do. All the staff and Mr. Snipe the orthopedist were great and in no way deserve this negativity expressed in the reviews. Everyone has earned our trust, and we thank them very much!

They did not suggest that you do additional tests to get rid of it unnecessarily. The staff is friendly, nurses and non-medical staff, and doctors smile and chat a few serious conversations. The environment and space are impeccable!
I had my gallbladder removed at the beginning of the year with the help of a wonderful surgeon and his wonderful team. I really liked the medical and hotel services. Perfection, kindness, speed, efficiency, attentiveness, lack of control. Thank you very much!
Doctors and nurses in outpatient medicine work with politeness, methodicality and self-denial, as well as with a great burden of love, which would numerically require two more doctors, at least in the daytime and evening hours, so that patients do not wait for hours until they are finally examined after the examination. The group should take care of this.
An extremely unpleasant experience, they created a scandalous mechanism, pushing for health fears and an emergency situation. For bleeding from the nose of an elderly woman, they took 350 euros to replace the cotton wool that she had applied herself with a tampon! It was described as a surgical operation. And they forced her to take blood tests for nothing, because the doctor had to look at the tests before inserting a tampon into her nose....... This is a well-established mechanism, and they do not report the total cost from the very beginning, but go step by step, gradually, so that you cannot go back. And the employees boldly respond: "You came to a private hospital, you chose it, what were you waiting for?".
Unscrupulous thieves. For laparoscopic surgery, which my father did and stayed at home during the day, and while the doctor's secretary informed us about the cost of the clinic 1100 euros, plus additional materials of a maximum of 400 euros, when we went to the accounting department, they asked for 3400! !!
And this is without doctors ' fees ... No matter how many materials are used in the operating room, no matter how many stitches are required, they do not cost 2.5 thousand. They laugh at us even in our face, in their shame. Speculators and exploiters of human pain.
