Cereneo Clinic in Vitznau (Switzerland)

Cereneo is a neurorehabilitation center in the Swiss Alps. For the recovery of patients who have suffered a stroke, spinal and craniocerebral injuries, they use modern robotics and their own innovative methods developed at the Cefir Research Institute.
  The clinic practices an individual approach to each patient, after the examination and studying the diagnosis, a special program is drawn up. There are three times as many doctors here as there are patients, so everyone is given maximum attention.
  Robotic systems are used to develop limbs and control skills:
  Armeo Power-exoskeleton for hands;
Indego-exoskeleton for legs;
ZeroG-a device for maintaining the body in an upright position and restoring balance;
Erigo-a simulator that keeps the body in an upright position to prepare the body for learning to walk;
Lokomat-a treadmill where the speed for each leg is set separately.
  In addition to robotic therapy, patients are treated by a speech therapist and neuropsychologist. Non-surgical brain stimulation, physical therapy, and occupational therapy sessions help restore functionality.
