Although the Magdeburg University Clinic traces its history back to the 18th century, the current stage of its development is associated with the opening in 2011 of one of the first Da Vinci robotic operating centers in Germany. Every year, the clinic serves more than 82 thousand patients, in 2019, 1348 children were born here. The clinic includes 6 centers specializing in the treatment of various oncological diseases, including breast cancer, gynecological tumor diseases, prostate carcinoma, colon cancer. The great advantage of this medical institution is a powerful base for various types of diagnostics, including minimally invasive biopsy, MRI, ultrasound, and complex diagnostics. Other services of the clinic include various areas of surgery:

  • generalandvisceral;

  • vascularsystem;

  • aesthetic;

  • spinalcord;

  • headandnecksurgery.

Urology, child and adolescent psychiatry, and gastroenterology services are also provided. The focus of the clinic's work, which deserves special mention, is liver transplantation operations and treatment of pancreatic diseases. Every year, the clinic receives a consistently high rating from the professional community, being one of the best hospitals in the State of Saxony-Anhalt. The medical complex is located in a quiet area of Magdeburg on the north-western edge of the city. An important additional advantage of the clinic is the long-standing cooperation with charitable organizations from the CIS – here Russian-speaking patients will meet the full understanding of the staff and will feel comfortable.

Patient feedback on treatment:
Magdeburg Clinic (Germany)

Friendly and competent! I felt very comfortable all the time, despite the unpleasant gastroscopy procedure. A lot of attention is paid to the patient, and the work is done professionally.
My stay at the clinic was actually very pleasant, even if a little lonely because of the current situation with the crown. I was treated well, everyone was kind to me. I have nothing to complain about, thank you.
I was here for a colonoscopy and can only recommend the clinic. You are treated very well and taken care of. The staff is very friendly and competent. The atmosphere in the clinic is also very pleasant.
I got to the Magdeburg hospital by accident. My leg has been hurting for a long time, and lately I couldn't stand on it at all. The doctors said with one voice that it was necessary to operate, I resisted. The children insisted on an examination in Germany, they said that it was not so expensive, but I would know exactly what was wrong with my leg. The examination took only a couple of days. The doctor said that the reason was in the back, not in the legs and prescribed treatment. A month later I was practically running.
The doctors and nurses are very friendly and polite. I went to oncology for treatment and felt very comfortable. Thanks to the excellent staff, my worries and concerns were quickly forgotten. Thanks!

Patient treated Intervertebral hernia in the clinic Magdeburg Clinic (Germany)
10.0
Hello. I was brought here on 03.09.20. I have an intervertebral hernia. What I experienced here is probably nowhere to be found in Germany.
The best doctors, good nurses and everything is well organized. I am lying here in neurosurgery, and after 2.5 years of countless doctors and discoveries, they finally helped me, because there are doctors here who know exactly what this is about. On September 12, I was allowed to go home, and I know for sure that my torment, thanks to Dr. Braunsdorf and his team, has come to an end. And if I need anything again, I know exactly where to go. So thank you for everything. You are the best!!!!

Patient treated Diabetes mellitus in the clinic Magdeburg Clinic (Germany)

I can only say positive things about this hospital. Everyone is always friendly, and the doctors are very nice and competent. I was lying at the post of the stroke department and I would especially like to single out a young nurse. I have rarely met such a loving and responsive guardian. His name was Saba. I want to thank the doctors and nurses for their excellent care
I want to say a big thank you to the oncologists who work at the Magdeburg Clinic. My uncle was admitted to the hospital with the third stage of oncology, when there was little to hope for, but the doctors prescribed such treatment, which helped first stop the tumor, and then the neoplasm was completely removed. Now my uncle is full of energy, has found a new job, and is making plans for the future.

Patient treated Curvature of the nasal septum in the clinic Magdeburg Clinic (Germany)
10.0
I was there for the correction of the nasal septum and can only report on the positive aspects. Chief Physician Dr. Koch was sensitive and competent from the first to the last day. I felt that he treated me very well. And the result is better than I expected. Because of Corona, I ended up in the internal medicine ward, the nurses were very loving and patient with me. Unfortunately, no one was allowed to receive visitors... but the nurses cheered me up, and as a result, the time in the hospital flew by very quickly. I would do the operation again, but only there! Thank you for everything.
My wife gave birth in this hospital. We took it very well, but after that there were a few awkward moments, a little rudeness in our direction. But not critical. Otherwise, everything is fine, we thank the doctors for a job well done.
A completely underground hospital! Let a small child of 3 years old sit in the corridor for 8 hours, despite admission to the hospital! You're being treated like cattle! Absolutely not recommended! Those who can and have the opportunity should avoid this hospital, especially the children's ward!
This is my second time here as an emergency patient. Every time I was immediately cared for by doctors and nurses, and I was treated very well. Also in the ward itself, all the nurses were very nice and helpful and even did their best to get another bed for my herniated disc and the corresponding pain. I will come back here any time, even if I have a long way to go
We were brought in at night with our baby. Everyone who contacted us was incredibly nice, understanding and responsive! Both in the intensive care unit and in the children's department. We are still very grateful!
I wouldn't even put a star on this hospital, one star just for free parking. The emergency room is just a disaster
Recording the conversation ... to the waiting room ...
speaking of symptoms ...
Ultrasound waiting room ... waiting room ..
Blood sampling (about 45-60 minutes according to the doctor)
After 3 hours the values were there, one says that everything is fine.. the other one says something else. Waiting room 1 hour .. Asked what now. Answer: The anesthesiologist will be here in 5 minutes.. 30 minutes will pass, no one will be there.
The end result:
Despite the severe pain, no painkillers!
In the end, free yourself at your own risk.
Hire "MORE" employees instead of saving everywhere.
A very bad hospital. I came to the emergency department on Thursday morning with a certificate from a general practitioner. In the intensive care unit, they immediately helped me and quickly found out what it was. The doctor in the emergency room was very nice and sent me for additional tests. In the emergency room, everything went very quickly and went perfectly. Then I was admitted to the hospital, and since then everything has gone downhill. Further examinations should be carried out the next day, which, unfortunately, did not happen. Nothing was done at all. I received pills that were canceled after a day on the grounds that they were useless. A day later I was transferred to another ward, where I didn't actually listen. And again, of course, no exams. Every day another doctor came and told me something new. The doctors did not want to discharge me and could not say when it would be possible to conduct any examinations at all. Absolutely unqualified doctors work here! No one has any plans! I don't even need to start with food and hygiene. Absolutely not recommended hospital. Neither I nor my family will come back here!
Magdeburg Hospital, Neurosurgery is the best hospital I have ever visited.
Very polite, sensitive and very helpful.
A team of neurosurgeons saved my life, I had an aneurysm in my head.
And even though I live 400 km away, I'm still in touch.
And if I have any questions, the doctors will call back.
You are still a person, not a number.
