Patient feedback on treatment:
North Rhine-Westphalia Clinical Complex in Duisburg (Germany)

During my inpatient stay in July 2021, everything was fine. The doctors and staff were nice and took their time. The food was fine. Don't stop at a restaurant. Only the condition of the rooms was lousy. Toilet and shower in the hallway, not very clean and everything needs repair
I can only recommend a hospital! What the staff is doing is amazing, keep it up..

Always pleasant and friendly, some patients should learn this. This hospital - again and again
As many have already written, unfortunately, YOU HAVE TO rate with a star to give a rating. I myself was discharged from this slaughterhouse 2 days ago with intestinal inflammation. The states that reign there are under all canons. The emergency call button can be pressed at any time, which is clear, but very unclear if after 10 minutes one of the sisters appears to help. I asked all day to put me on a drip (which again requires new access), which was needed 2 times to get antibiotic treatment. The doctor knew this and constantly passed by my room without reacting when I addressed her. When I went out the door to the street for 5 minutes, she ran past me again. After the comment, thanks for the access, she happily called "I was in for 3 hours of work. Daily access slips, and even with a decrease in blood, the veins burst.
Patients will leave themselves, no matter what age.. Even the feeble-minded old people wander around the rooms at night, and no one cares about it. I would call this hospital a one-way street, because those who recover there have more than a million guardian angels.
The emergency department staff was very friendly. I was immediately taken to the treatment room and given first aid to a nurse. After a short wait, the doctor came, treated me kindly and explained everything she had done. Thanks to the staff.
One star is still too much! My father has been in this "hospital" for more than a week with a severe stroke. We haven't had a chance to talk to the attending physician yet. No one answers the phone in the ward. After asking about the central office, the nurse did not know who the attending physician was. "She couldn't ask the patient because he couldn't speak after the stroke." In the end, two promised doctor's calls organized by the administration ended in failure. No one answered. You also can't miss doctors during rounds. Visiting hours are from 3 to 5 pm and a maximum of half an hour. This regime is strictly observed. At this time, the round, of course, has long been over. I am sure that the conversation, if it had taken place, would have been conducted in Russian. A bottle of urine and a boat? Too complicated, too confusing. Patients are wrapped in diapers. What a pity!
This hospital is very disorganized. This means that in the evening you will be operated on in the morning. In the morning they say that you will not be operated on today. As a precaution, there's not even anything to drink here. As a patient, you don't know where your turn is.
Preoperative processes are well organized, they didn't wait anywhere for a long time, every employee was very friendly and helpful, the best general anesthesia with surprisingly good tolerability!
One star is still too much for this juice store. I took a good friend to the hospital because his shin was filled with blood, as well as a strong fever and chills. The doctor advised to go to the hospital as soon as possible due to suspected thrombosis.

Once there, an elderly gentleman and his son ended up in the emergency department; he fell down the stairs at his family home and bled from his ear. The family doctor sent him to the hospital, as it needed to be treated surgically as soon as possible. The doctor present replied that he was not an ear doctor and that he should change this now.... The doctor seriously asks the patient what he should change in this now... Was the patient sent home again with a statement that he should see a doctor??

Strange, but it's true!

Then it was my friend's turn, the doctor came to the door at a distance of about 2 m. He had to roll up his pant leg and show what his problem was. * Irony on * The doctor's diagnostic X-ray eyes immediately realized that it must be a mosquito bite * The irony is removed *.

In the further course, it was impossible even to describe that there was a high fever with chills, there was no ultrasound or other treatment to clarify whether it could be thrombosis. In addition, there were problems with blood circulation, etc.

In the end, he was sent home without treatment.

A clear recommendation to avoid the hospital completely. I assume it's a doctor in disguise with a fake certificate who just sends patients home.
Sometimes extremely unfriendly/snotty treatment of patients! But you could ignore it, at least the diagnoses would be correct! I went to the hospital with my fiance in the evening, I was personally pushed hard, my fiancee was misdiagnosed, the urgent transportation of the patient to her main hospital was only deliberately postponed, almost refusing to make a diagnosis! Only after several hours of waiting, a doctor came with a diagnosis and painkillers, further transportation to their main hospital with gynecology was deliberately postponed, only to say at the end that they were better because they would not be relocated (after painkillers and morphine, it is NOT a MIRACLE that it is painless)! Absolute audacity, however, was the phrase, and I quote here literally: "You are only in an emergency situation when you vomit"! Suddenly it becomes clear to you that you are there only for the hospital to make a mess at the expense of the patient! Then my fiancee was discharged contrary to medical recommendations, and I personally took her to her main hospital, where, finally, the correct diagnosis was made (it's good that this step was taken, otherwise the treatment would have continued with a completely wrong diagnosis). The fact that the head doctor from the main hospital called Farner Hospital that evening and accused the "doctor" treating there less emotionally of incompetence and ignorance was a balm for the soul! I really can only advise EVERYONE who is attached to their life to go to this hospital! We will also sue through our lawyer! I will never go to this hospital again!
Hello everyone, I've been here for 4 days and had an intervertebral disc operation, the doctors and nursing staff are just wonderful, I'm very satisfied, everyone is very friendly and competent
