How it works
Patient feedback on treatment:
San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (Italy)
My brother's hospitalization was tantamount to a nightmare, no contact person, no manager, complete chaos so much that I couldn't even tell me when he would be discharged and where he would be taken for further rehabilitation.
If this hospital is poor Italian excellence! Lots of smoke and no roast. In the days of Covid, a perfect example of recklessness and lightness, a whole hive of characters who aimlessly buzz to the detriment of those who need presence, care and support.
I don't need to be the one to discover the virtues operating in this context.
At the moment, I have the impression of a very effective organizational structure both in managing the bureaucratic process associated with the formalization of my position, and in providing me with material and technical means (dining room, laundry).
There is a team spirit both within the department and between different departments.
In short: I like it
I had to do this, for a flight that was supposed to take place in two days, and on his website it was said that I would receive the results by email without any problems, so I continued to pay 80 euros for the test.
On the day of the appointment when I arrived, they told me that they could not email me the results as they did not have the funds to do so, and that I would have to go to the same hospital two days later to get the results. It was impossible for me, since I was engaged in tourism and flew to my homeland on the same day.
When I asked for an explanation, they didn't give me any answers, and the locals themselves, when they called their superiors, were completely ignored.
In the end, I had to leave without proof, without explanation and cheat for 80 euros.
I am currently continuing to request it by email from managers and have not received any response yet.
I have all the data and receipts that confirm everything I just wrote.
One of the best hospitals in Italy, very large, where people come from all over Italy, but also from abroad. It is impossible for acceptance to be flawless when dealing with many people who are very concerned about the severity of their health problems.
The oncology department, which employs doctors, nurses, admissions committees, is distinguished by sensitivity and professionalism at the highest level.
Thank you for the very hard work you have done..
Loose organization, as if crumpled. Unsatisfactory.
I thank everyone from Mr. Angelo, who came in the morning to clean my room to the head doctor, Professor Chicherin.
I'd like to name them one by one, but I'm sure I'll forget someone. I hug them all and will thank them all my life, of course, for their professionalism, but the humanity with which they carry out their difficult work is of fundamental importance.
Professor/Dr. Lucia Moyola is not only very well prepared, but also a real authority.
Maybe there was something like the lady mentioned above, the state health service or private structures, they would not have to pay salaries, but there would be no adequate economic measures.
In short, I could spend hours praising the Doctor, but I don't want to stop there.
A solemn appreciation, as far as I understand, and we are only at the beginning of the journey.
Thank you very much!!!

The nurses in the ophthalmology department are all very good. I felt pampered and protected. Thank you
Everything went well, I thank the whole team of Prof. Montorsi, Dr. Larcher who accompanied me from the very beginning, and other doctors who were part of the team. (sorry if I don't remember all the names)
Thanks again to everyone from the bottom of my heart, you are great!!
Fate gave us into the hands of the neuroendocrinologist Professor Marco Los, who followed and continues to follow my daughter. Initially, an attempt was made to pharmacological treatment, which, due to the nature of the adenoma, did not give a positive result. Therefore, we chose the inevitable and necessary operation.
After several months of waiting, on February 2, 2023, my daughter was hospitalized and underwent a complex operation performed by Professor Pietro Mortini, whose great and rare surgical skills we have already learned from the media, not only at the local level, but also far beyond.
The operation was successful, the adenoma was completely removed, the pituitary gland remained intact. It's too early to talk about victory, only 10 days have passed since the operation, but we hope and are confident in a good functional recovery.
We sincerely thank Professors Marco Losa and Pietro Mortini for their skills and temporary solution to the problem.
We thank all the staff of the Department of Neurosurgery, kind, sympathetic, capable and reliable.
Last but not least, Dr. Andrea Bisolio, Resident, due to his closeness, competence, listening skills and extreme availability.
Thank you all very much.
