Patient feedback on treatment:
San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (Italy)

We publish only real reviews
When you come to an emergency, it doesn't seem impressive. They're busy here. They are constantly visited by a large number of people. Critical cases are identified here. If you don't have a critical case, you can wait for many hours and since then give only 2 stars. But if you do, then it should be one of the best. I speak from personal experience . I would have died in many other hospitals. There are real doctors here who delve deeply into your case, through proper examination, using the latest equipment and techniques.. You can only appreciate it if you've had bad doctors too.
The hospital is undoubtedly one of the most modern and advanced in Italy, both in terms of research and infrastructure - hospitals and not. As for our experience, I describe it as very positive. All the specialists with whom we dealt in different ways turned out to be not only good professionals in the medical art, but also people endowed with the spirit of understanding and kindness.
We went to this hospital for the delivery of our first child, being a "child-friendly" hospital. The birth went pretty well, although the birthing tub didn't work, there was no hot water, it hurt my wife to get stitches after giving birth (to get stitches, you shouldn't feel pain if you need to inject more painkillers, as other doctors later explained). A big disappointment came when breastfeeding began. At the first difficulty with attaching the baby to the breast, we were not followed by someone who explained well how breastfeeding should take place, and we were immediately offered artificial milk. Being the first child and very inexperienced, we mistakenly trusted them. This incorrect approach at the beginning of breastfeeding led to the fact that we had to give our baby part of breast milk and part of the formula for the next 6 months. We thought that by relying on a "child-friendly" hospital, they followed us and tried to avoid baby food, knowing that breastfeeding first is good for a good start and not having to resort to adding baby food later. For our second child, we went to give birth in San Gerardo in Monza, and there we were very well looked after at the initial stage, and we did not need any additions (as nature wanted). Summary: the label of the hospital of the child's friend San Raffaele knows only about the marketing trick, but, in fact, they do not want and do not have the skills to monitor those who want to breastfeed. I neglect San Raffaele to give birth.
An unfortunate experience, I was left with the feeling that I had fallen into a circle of Hell.
My brother's hospitalization was tantamount to a nightmare, no contact person, no manager, complete chaos so much that I couldn't even tell me when he would be discharged and where he would be taken for further rehabilitation.
If this hospital is poor Italian excellence! Lots of smoke and no roast. In the days of Covid, a perfect example of recklessness and lightness, a whole hive of characters who aimlessly buzz to the detriment of those who need presence, care and support.
San Raffaele Hospital I've always heard of her, but I've never seen her in person. Yesterday I went there for a gynecological examination, plus a very positive experience with Dr. Jada Almirante. When I arrived and found myself in front of this giant structure, it gave me confidence. She seemed to me like a great mother who protected her children with her body. Unfortunately, for various health reasons, even serious ones, I have visited various hospitals, and, as a rule, my instinct does not lie, this is a LARGE hospital, not because of the space it occupies, but because of the ability to solve health problems. really important. Even if the Pawnshop's healthcare is always vilified, we have achievements that are dreamed of in most other regions. Appreciate everything you have, because we are really lucky. GOOD HEALTH TO ALL.
I've been working in the hospital's internal pharmacy for about a month now.
I don't need to be the one to discover the virtues operating in this context.
At the moment, I have the impression of a very effective organizational structure both in managing the bureaucratic process associated with the formalization of my position, and in providing me with material and technical means (dining room, laundry).
There is a team spirit both within the department and between different departments.
In short: I like it
On February 22, I was in Milan and made an appointment for PCR at the San Raffaele Hospital using the website of the San Donato Group.
I had to do this, for a flight that was supposed to take place in two days, and on his website it was said that I would receive the results by email without any problems, so I continued to pay 80 euros for the test.
On the day of the appointment when I arrived, they told me that they could not email me the results as they did not have the funds to do so, and that I would have to go to the same hospital two days later to get the results. It was impossible for me, since I was engaged in tourism and flew to my homeland on the same day.
When I asked for an explanation, they didn't give me any answers, and the locals themselves, when they called their superiors, were completely ignored.
In the end, I had to leave without proof, without explanation and cheat for 80 euros.
I am currently continuing to request it by email from managers and have not received any response yet.
I have all the data and receipts that confirm everything I just wrote.
I have read a lot of reviews made at the hospital reception, I have no words!!!
One of the best hospitals in Italy, very large, where people come from all over Italy, but also from abroad. It is impossible for acceptance to be flawless when dealing with many people who are very concerned about the severity of their health problems.
The oncology department, which employs doctors, nurses, admissions committees, is distinguished by sensitivity and professionalism at the highest level.
Thank you for the very hard work you have done..
All I can do is give this hospital a full assessment. I contacted the cup several times to arrange a meeting for my daughter, and I found several available and really kind people. Then I came for an endocrinological examination, and we had a great time with Dr. Di Frenna... a helpful and very sensitive doctor. And finally, a day hospital today in pediatrics... the icing on the cake! Patricia and Morena were two angels with my daughter Georgia. Praise to all the staff and many thanks to you for the impeccable management of everything ...
I have been visiting San Raffaele for several decades. I am not discussing the therapeutic aspect, the results of which seem, if not excellent, then on average reasonable, but the climate. The arrogance of those who work there, at all levels, has remained from the previous leadership. But both the sense of belonging to the leadership of excellence in know-how and the focus on patient care seem to have been lost.
Loose organization, as if crumpled. Unsatisfactory.
Having arrived from Padua for a bone marrow transplant in November 2017, I still come for a checkup in San Rafael. In addition to the beautiful structure, I want to congratulate all the staff of the hematology department, from the day hospital to the hospitalization department and polyclinics.
I thank everyone from Mr. Angelo, who came in the morning to clean my room to the head doctor, Professor Chicherin.
I'd like to name them one by one, but I'm sure I'll forget someone. I hug them all and will thank them all my life, of course, for their professionalism, but the humanity with which they carry out their difficult work is of fundamental importance.
The first visit to the SM center.
Professor/Dr. Lucia Moyola is not only very well prepared, but also a real authority.
Maybe there was something like the lady mentioned above, the state health service or private structures, they would not have to pay salaries, but there would be no adequate economic measures.
In short, I could spend hours praising the Doctor, but I don't want to stop there.
A solemn appreciation, as far as I understand, and we are only at the beginning of the journey.
Thank you very much!!!

My father was hospitalized with bladder cancer. I regret to say that the atmosphere we breathed in this dramatic situation was not the best. Arrogance and almost indifference, which at such a moment can destroy this minimum of hopes for us, relatives, but, above all, the patient, made us suffer a lot. Big disappointment.
I was operated on in San Rafael last week. I can only say that everyone was good, absolutely everything. (Department of Neurosurgery) High professionalism and competence. I want to emphasize the high professionalism, kindness and humanity of Professor Llosa, who accompanied me and explained everything during my journey. Thanks.
Every time I came to this institution, I was always and only welcomed, and they saved my life (the explosion of two brain aneurysms) thanks to super-Dr. Medona and Dr. Lopez, who is following me, as well as ophthalmologist Dr. Juliano. thank you endlessly, even if it is a little for what you have done and are doing for me

In January 2020, I was hospitalized in the ophthalmology department due to a very serious vision problem, and the ophthalmologists who followed me were competent, professional and very human. They also saved my eyesight. I am very grateful to this hospital, where I am still being treated.

On March 15, I was operated on by Dr. Monica Stoppani... what can I say, just an extraordinary operation to correct a strabismus with an excellent result. Professional medical team. I will never stop thanking them for giving me back the light in my eyes. Every time I look in the mirror, I get excited. Thanks a lot.
The nurses in the ophthalmology department are all very good. I felt pampered and protected. Thank you

I had prostate surgery this year 2023. Even on the first day of hospitalization, I felt very good, everyone was kind and attentive, so I calmed down before the operation.
Everything went well, I thank the whole team of Prof. Montorsi, Dr. Larcher who accompanied me from the very beginning, and other doctors who were part of the team. (sorry if I don't remember all the names)
Thanks again to everyone from the bottom of my heart, you are great!!

Great
pituitary adenoma.
Fate gave us into the hands of the neuroendocrinologist Professor Marco Los, who followed and continues to follow my daughter. Initially, an attempt was made to pharmacological treatment, which, due to the nature of the adenoma, did not give a positive result. Therefore, we chose the inevitable and necessary operation.
After several months of waiting, on February 2, 2023, my daughter was hospitalized and underwent a complex operation performed by Professor Pietro Mortini, whose great and rare surgical skills we have already learned from the media, not only at the local level, but also far beyond.
The operation was successful, the adenoma was completely removed, the pituitary gland remained intact. It's too early to talk about victory, only 10 days have passed since the operation, but we hope and are confident in a good functional recovery.
We sincerely thank Professors Marco Losa and Pietro Mortini for their skills and temporary solution to the problem.
We thank all the staff of the Department of Neurosurgery, kind, sympathetic, capable and reliable.
Last but not least, Dr. Andrea Bisolio, Resident, due to his closeness, competence, listening skills and extreme availability.
Thank you all very much.

Currently, my treatment is accompanied by Prof. Falconi and his wonderful staff who, with kindness and exceptional professionalism, represent national and European excellence in the treatment of pancreatic tumors .... Thank you from the bottom of my heart
I thank Dr. Francesco Azzolini and his entire team of talented doctors and nurses. From surgery to hospitalization and post-op, everything was perfect.
I was admitted to the Orthopedics Department and operated on by Dr. Paolo Poli and his team. The professionalism, education, respect, hygiene and every other kind of help I received exceeded even the most exorbitant demands. The overall organization that manages thousands of users daily is truly exceptional.
Probably one of the best places I know. Efficiency, professionalism and friendliness. When I or someone in my family needed to visit, we always choose this clinic.

I am grateful to prof. Pietro Mortini, because after several visits to doctors in northern Italy, even in specialized centers, they could not solve my spinal neuroma problem. And Dr. Mortini immediately focused on the resolution to be applied. And by surgical intervention, he returned my peace of mind, allowing me to live a completely normal life today. Competence, kindness and professional skill, as well as cordiality and availability, distinguish him as a great doctor. Excellent treatment at the department of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan and endless thanks to all the medical staff, in particular Dr. Francesca Ronchelli and the nurses.
Friendly and responsive orthopedic department. But the call center for making an appointment is always full, it is almost impossible to make an appointment.
I sincerely thank the staff of the hematology department and the donor for allowing me to be born a second time. All employees are always very friendly and will never make you feel lonely, even in the most difficult moments. Thanks again.
