Patient feedback on treatment:
University Hospital of Bonn (Germany)

The hospital administration took advantage of my inability to understand the language when I came for planned treatment, already agreed with International Medical Services and paid in advance. During the reception, they presented me with a translation contract that did not include vital information, without the presence of anyone who could give me this information, and therefore forced me to sign the contract under false pretenses, adding services that I had never asked for, under pressure of circumstances.

This could have been easily avoided if the hospital had provided me with this information at the same time as the bill that I received and paid a few weeks before my arrival, so that I had time to translate the information correctly and make an informed decision. They rather decided to wait until I was vulnerable to take advantage of my ignorance. I expected higher standards from UKBonn and am very disappointed that the hospital administration would engage in such unethical behavior.
Friendly, compassionate and competent.

I am very pleased with the university clinic.
Until now, I have always been treated very well.
There I gave birth to twins, and I had my Implanon removed.

And every time I had really good doctors who took very good care of me and my children.
The rooms are also clean.

Praise from me
The best hospital I've ever been treated in. Doctors, nurses and nurses are all very friendly, helpful, and you could not feel for a second that everyone is naturally under stress, as, unfortunately, this job requires, my greatest respect for her, I felt very comfortable for 10 days when I was treated there, I can really just say thank you to every employee, I have already seen several hospitals, and, especially in adulthood, they showed me“ "Colleague, you are just a number." Everything was different here, I became a noticed person who needed help, and received it more than carefully and competently, great!
I think it's very nice here. I've never felt so good and comfortable in a hospital before. Since there was a quick operation coming up, of course I was a little overwhelmed, but the doctors and nurses/midwives took such good care of me. They were all very empathetic and always asked if I was missing something, if I needed something or if I should let you know at any time.
My mom was there for the second time in a few weeks and the sisters are very nice and always there for you (also for families). There is a playground nearby, which is great for children and short-term entertainment. In autumn you can find many beautiful leaves and acorns.
Unfortunately, the stretcher (in Muller's ward) on which my mother was lying is not very modern and has rather fallen into disrepair, and gastroscopy often fails, therefore a stellar deduction.
Otherwise, excellent staff, nurses and doctors.
We went there on Tuesday morning with a lot of pain. The staff immediately took care of me and treated me very, very carefully. I would like to thank the prenatal medicine and the women's clinic once again. Nurses and doctors give you time, and they take you seriously. Friendliness is also high on the agenda. I felt comfortable there every second and would like to thank everyone for the fact that my children were thoroughly checked.
The staff seems professional and friendly, but it's best to go around a large area when it comes to their own surgery. Completely disorganized management, at least in urology.
Unfortunately, my partner was lying there, but was released on Wednesday.
All the doctors and nurses do an excellent job and try to do their best for you in these difficult conditions. In urgent cases, operations and very thorough examinations are carried out.
You, as a relative, will be treated seriously with your fears and needs. They're trying to help you. Especially the ladies and gentlemen from the service center (switchboard) do a lot and are always friendly and helpful if you don't know and want to be connected to the appropriate station.
All the staff, be it doctors, nurses, technicians and everyone who supports this grandiose cause, the entire team of the University Hospital of Bonn...
the senior doctor and her team at the Women's clinic were just great and very competent.
You are great, you can only say THANK YOU, bravo, it's nice to have you here, ALL of you
The doctors there are really very competent, as well as leaders in their fields and very friendly. You really can't complain about that. BUT my wife spent a week in the ward because of pregnancy problems, and as for the nursing staff, things are actually no worse. There was not a single nurse or midwife in our ward who spoke even a little German. I have nothing against such people, but if you have a job where you have to communicate with patients all the time, the German language is an advantage! It can't be that you have to ask all 100 times and you were sent from one sister to another, because no one understands a word of German! My God, this is a hospital! I'm coming back because of the doctors, but if it's necessary to stay, I definitely prefer other hospitals!
Appeared 2 times by appointment. Both times the meeting was probably not registered in the system. Parking spaces are expensive, but there are almost none. Therefore, plan enough time in advance to find a parking spot, and enough time after that so that the waiting time is not stressful, despite the appointment. There is a second star, in addition to the mandatory star, because medical advice is not bad - at least in cardiology.
