Patient feedback on treatment:
University Hospital of Essen (Germany)

We publish only real reviews
In the ophthalmology clinic, the waiting time is 7 hours, despite the recording. Not a hint of organization.
I 've been in the emergency room for almost 3 hours !! Instead of treating patients, there are a couple of "night nurses" in the corridor and only one doctor is on duty! My bones continued to swell, and I was left without treatment, as were several patients with me!
This hospital should be ashamed !! This is how German doctors earn their money (small talk and staying in other rooms with other employees)! Do we all pay insurance premiums for this? Do doctors get a salary of thousands of euros for this?
Very friendly staff
The decor of the room is excellent
The food is also delicious
I can only recommend the University Clinic of Essen to everyone
I had to wait about 2.5 years for an operation to eliminate strabismus in the ophthalmology clinic of the University of Essen, and it was worth it. I was surprised that the clinic managed to keep this appointment during the corona phase. I lay in Ward 3A for one night and felt that I was in very safe hands. Good working atmosphere. The team works hand in hand. Colleagues appreciate each other, it's good for the patient.
The operation went very well. Ms. Eckstein also performed minor eye improvements during surgery, which are not listed in the catalog of health insurance services. After the operation, the field of vision has greatly increased. As a result, my quality of life has increased and I have more enthusiasm for life. I am very grateful to her for this and I will always keep your name in my memory. Thanks !! A very satisfied patient.
I was at the medical center on Nephro-1. A very good team (assistants, nurses and doctors). Attentive and sensitive. Clear answers are given to all questions!

Unfortunately, the room with two single beds was unnecessarily crammed with medical supplies (two walkers and a wheelchair).
This clinic can be described in one word. "Gigantic" is a huge complex, but I always felt that I was in safe hands. Very competent doctors and staff.
Very kind, nice, competent doctors and very good staff were very kind to me and my son, saved my son's life and did everything for this.
Thank you all
My stay last September was very good. There has always been a very good medical staff. The doctors were great, too. He underwent surgery on the thoracic spine.
Bad!! I was in intensive care, and after 3 hours of waiting, the doctor still did not come, I got tired and left. No help came. Should they hire more doctors instead of making patients wait for hours in vain? I can't recommend the clinic, and now I understand why the clinic has a bad reputation. Before leaving, I asked when the doctor would come, and I felt that it was impossible to ask. At least the staff seemed a little annoyed.
It doesn't matter which department they treat me in, the nurses and doctors are always very nice. Of course, you often have to wait, despite the record, but if you are treated well, it's always worth it. I go to the clinic only because I feel in good hands there!
Yes, I have to say, because the clinic has already realized my dreams several times, I can only give them 5 stars. In any case, I am glad that I had an operation at this clinic.
Please, if you have a crown, don't go there, they left my husband without medication or a doctor's visit for more than 12 hours, as they know that my husband has another disease that requires treatment. Please don't risk your life.
