How it works
Patient feedback on treatment:
Ustron Rehabilitation complex (Poland)
I am very happy with the treatment and the ladies who work there, nice and competent. They do not create artificial problems, they help patients to be happy. They have a lot of work, they run from office to office, but they are smiling and helpful.
After these procedures, we felt really better.
The dining room is a weak spot, although it is very important. We were always on time for meals, and yet the food was cold. Cold soups in a vase, cold water in a jug (tea was not brewed), cold potatoes.
Not enough patients and the Lord did not let the water get hot?
Overall, the food was tasteless and unappetizing.
Elevators are another weak point.
She collided with a non-working elevator. We were ordered to go down a few steps, carry heavy suitcases to take another elevator, and then a security man said that it was a dirty elevator for patients in the isolation ward, horror.
Three failures a week?
I sent my mother there privately (81 years old, but alone) for 11 days under the program "Specialized rehabilitation of motor organs" in "rUvnitsa". Amazing prices, but ... I received an urgent 10 days later in a worse condition than I was driving. Well, the attending physician (L), knowing from the patient that she has scoliosis, wears an orthopedic belt and prescribes such procedures as for a young athlete after bypass surgery. Unfortunately, despite the availability of "round-the-clock medical care", the body could not withstand such a pace, because it had no right to do so. The spine reminded itself. And who is the expert here, I ask? The client has paid, now let him run around the floors and kilometer-long corridors for procedures. Seven days later, my mother fainted, and then the doctor showed up. Well, the walks are over, rehabilitation is paid for, rest and pleasure from staying in a wonderful climate, which is undoubtedly found in this region of the country. This is bullying. For the next three days (until my mother is taken away from this institution), the order is to lie in bed just in case (here are words of gratitude to the nurses from the seventh floor). Of course, there are enough culprits, despite the assurances of the management about the absence of contact compensation (three weeks have passed), there is no refund for the unused 10 procedures, and the content of the conversation with one of the deputy directors of this institution will not be quoted, because I do not want to offend him and descend to his level. Thanking the elderly woman from the cardiology department on the ground floor for understanding the problem, the others washed their hands.
In total:
- prices for private accommodation are too high for this standard of service;
- do not exaggerate with the comfort of the rooms - like in a hospital ward, but generally clean;
- the food is terrible (probably catering), at the level of the milk bar from the comedy Bareya (I attached a photo).
- quick medical examination, treatment prescribed by a doctor in a standard and random manner - regardless of the patient's health status;
- a professional medical base, but located on a very large territory, as if no one considered the elderly and the fact that walking along kilometer-long corridors is a problem for them.
- male reception service is rude, slow and justifying - bullying;
- cleanliness of the facility and rooms - no reservations;
As a rule, you should think carefully about choosing this institution for a person who really needs rehabilitation and medical care. THEREFORE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING A PARALLEL INSTALLATION.
PS. At the last moment, my doctor only recently discovered a serious injury to my mother's spine. Unfortunately, everything ended up in a hospital, rehabilitation... and, unfortunately, back surgery. As proof, we have an X-ray from the X-ray. Let everyone associate themselves with what can contribute to this?
Here's what the spa promises on its website (Kuracjusz PLUS package) and how it looks compared to reality:
1) Placement
- good rooms for paying guests, but they look like hospital rooms.
2) Full board (on a diet)
- terrible food, straight from communist-era holiday homes, brrr!
3) Medical examination and procedures
- there was practically no medical examination, the procedures were randomly assigned by a doctor, who was expected to see him for one day.
4) Medical and nursing care
- there is practically no medical and nursing care. Contact with the doctor was very limited (the mothers did not like the procedures, and despite asking to see a doctor to change the procedures, she did not have the privilege to get on her face). Nurses and unpleasantly look at the bather as an intrusive uninvited guest who dares to disturb the precious peace of the soul. We got the impression that a private patient is treated like an ordinary vacationer, for whom rehabilitation is just a whim: despite the fact that we hoped for specialist advice and help in improving his health, we left empty-handed. Maybe staying at NFZ looks different...
5) 30 points per day for treatment for use at the surgical base in the Spa Center of the Department of Natural Medicine-in accordance with the evaluation score.
- large medical base and good service of physiotherapists;
- the medical base is located at a great distance from the sanatorium, to get to it, you will have to go through 4 long corridors, the elderly will have significant difficulties;
- Saturday and Sunday procedures are not carried out, which we were not even informed about, so if you stay for a week, along with a one-day delay in the appointment of procedures, we had to return in 3 days.
TOO:
- unpleasant reception staff, lack of staff and organizational chaos;
- we were not informed about the principles of using the sanatorium's database, my question was told to me that I could read (sic);
- Wi-Fi is not working.
I consider staying in the sanatorium Ruvnitsa a mistake. I would not recommend staying in this institution.
