DARA Rehabilitation Center (DARA) became the first medical facility of this type in Southeast Asia and the main international drug treatment center in Asia. The main goal of DARA is to provide a personalized, effective, compassionate and comprehensive treatment program for clients with problems in:

The DARA Center is located in a resort complex on the tropical island of Koh Chang in the Gulf of Thailand. This allows it to combine an intensive rehabilitation center with luxurious rooms and the amenities of a five-star resort. The center's specialists recognize the importance of family participation in rehabilitation, so family members take an active part in all the stages of treatment. For this purpose, two key approaches are used: "Family System Therapy" and "Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy". To overcome addiction, the center's specialists help patients form and adhere to the rules of a healthy lifestyle:

In addition, guided tours and workshops are organized at weekends, ranging from Thai cooking lessons to elephant rides. The duration of the programs is 4, 6, 8 and 12 weeks, but if necessary, the rehabilitation period can be adjusted.

Kind therapists. People there are ready to help. They want you to succeed. It's not about quitting smoking, it's about what you need. They helped me identify the problem and work on it. Now I can have a better relationship and have more faith in myself. The place is also absolutely beautiful. Much better than in the photos. The food is also delicious. The impressions are phenomenal .. weekend excursions, for example, baths with elephants. I even got a PADI certificate for diving while I was there.
My cousin went through hell with his drug addiction and plucked up the courage to seek help. From the day of his arrival until the day he left the rehabilitation center, the Dara Rehab team was very hospitable and caring. Treatment not only helped him get rid of addiction, he came home happier and healthier, absolutely the opposite of what it was before rehabilitation.
A fantastic place that really supports you. Gives you the tools to help with recovery as well as relapse. I received amazing care and was able to resolve many issues with my chief advisor. The staff is wonderful. The reception team, the canteen team and the nursing team are incredibly helpful. The counting team is excellent. They were all helpful, patient and caring. My special one was great. Really helped me. I am so grateful for the support that I got a solution to my problems. Thank you very much. Even though PT wasn't my thing, my personal trainer gave me things that fit my needs and fitness level. Very kind. The food was good. The mix of Thai and Western cuisine was good. Sometimes we even had Mexican and Indian ones. The villas are beautiful. Large comfortable beds that are made for you and your room are cleaned 6 days a week by cleaning. There are a few monkeys around that can be very cheeky. However, I really enjoyed watching them through the trees and wandering around. In addition, there were several animals nearby, the cat Dara, the dog baby and the dog Boom helped with the loss of my own pets. In general, I can't speak above about the GIFT. I'm leaving, feeling positive, inspired and eager to start my new journey; Sober. If you really want to change your life, then I highly recommend DARA. Thanks for everything x
I stayed at Dara Koh Chang for two months earlier this year to treat clinically pronounced depressive alcohol use as a "make me happy" remedy, as most people know what can make you happy for a few minutes, and then what?? My stay was fantastic - the accommodation - the surroundings - the fantastic food was all there, but the most amazing was the advisory staff - a great variety in education and education, but always there Not only for classes, but also for private consultations or just 10-15 chats on things it was on my mind (and I had a lot of things on my mind) And also the wonderful support staff - the girls working at the reception helped with almost everything, and went overboard, kind and responsive, and most importantly - I'm from a hospitality background, and I can assure you, it's amazing. But as long as it looks like a beautiful resort - and has all the amenities, please do not forget that there are rules to follow - classes to attend, etc. - everyone who follows this rule of common sense will remain at a world level at a very reasonable price. I'll be back briefly next week to "refresh my brain," and I'm going to go there to put the brain into a friendly but challenging vacation mode.
Someone I care about spent 10 weeks here. A year later, they are still sober. The person who went to DARA turned into someone with a great sense of self-worth, and now he has a happy life. I do not know how to thank the therapists, the team and Darren, the owner. These are people who care about every person who walks through their door. This place literally saves lives.
This place has changed my life. I am a 28-year-old woman who has been struggling with addiction for a very long time. I've been to other rehabilitation centers, but I've never seen anything like Daru. After spending 3 months in Dara, I started visiting a therapist and have not taken drugs for 7 months.
