The academic clinic Starnbergof the University of Munich traces its history back to 1960. In 2004, a large-scale reconstruction was completed, as a result of which the clinic was transformed into a multidisciplinary center for family medicine. At least 12 thousand patients receive medical care here every year. Today, the medical institution has eight departments:

The clinic is focused on providing medical services to Russian-speaking patients. Since 2005, the institution has its own hotel "Residence", where there are 41 standard rooms and three superior rooms. The complex of buildings of the clinic is located in the private sector, which contributes to the creation of a quiet and comfortable environment. It takes only half an hour to get to Starnberg from Munich.

Top clinic (I can only talk about the delivery room and residence) with excellent doctors and nurses. I have rarely met such a warm support and care team, incredibly competent and humane, warm - wow! You really feel at home here, and you are not processed quickly. Only a few of the service personnel could learn something from the medical staff.
Last year I gave birth to my son here and was absolutely delighted with the maternity ward - all very sensitive, loving nurses, doctors and midwives.
Unfortunately, we often had to take our baby to the intensive care unit, and here I can only really praise! Pediatricians devote a lot of time, and you just feel that you are in very safe hands.

I'm stunned. I gave birth two weeks ago at the Starnberg Clinic, and from the very beginning everything was fine. My midwife was wonderful and professional, she responded to my needs and treated me seriously, appreciated my opinion and experience (not my first birth), and was also sensitive and friendly. The doctors were great, and overall the atmosphere was very pleasant. I stayed in the ward for only one and a half nights, and the nurses were very polite and, above all, friendly. Since I've already given birth in two other clinics, I know what I'm talking about. Praise the staff.
My mother was examined two days ago in the emergency department for electric shock and a subsequent fall with back pain. She was kept under "control" for 24 hours. Before she was discharged, she was told that she had no fracture, that she could walk, stand, and even be able to work the next day.
Due to severe pain, she herself was examined by a general surgeon, who discovered a fracture of the lumbar vertebra and categorically forbade her to walk or stand before the operation. She is currently undergoing surgery in the neurosurgery department of Grosshadern Hospital, and there she is definitely in safer hands.
It is completely incomprehensible and impossible to describe in words how during the day that mom spent in the emergency room, the fracture could not be recognized! If she had not gone to an external doctor, her condition would certainly have deteriorated significantly, which would have led to serious damage to her health.
